Cute and comfortable with one caveat
These boots were a panic buy for me…I needed something before I left for a trip in 36 hours and these were the only black boots that would arrive on time. Luckily, the gamble paid off and they arrived hours before I left for the airport. They were true to size for me (8.5), warm enough for cooler weather and I soft enough that they didn’t feel uncomfortable while I was running around (with one exception). The zipper at the ankle made it easy to slide the boots on and off. The upper portion of the boot was just a little loose on my average size calves, but not enough to be noticeable. I’m giving it 4 rather than 5 stars because I did get a blister specifically underneath my right ankle. I wore them the first day for 12 hours and was standing and walking the whole time, so it’s not unheard of to get a blister with new shoes. But, it felt like there was an especially hard piece of plastic right there that I did have to break in.

I ordered these boots mainly because of a nasty leg injury. I have an event coming up that I will need to wear a dress to and I need to hide my bruised and bandaged leg. My one leg is quite swollen still from mid calf to ankle and foot so I was unsure if I would even be able to get these boots on the affected leg. Boots came today and I was thrilled to get the boots on my injured leg. The partial zipper made getting them on absolutely painless. I wear a 10.5 shoe and ordered size 11 boots. Normally size 11 is too long for me but these fit well so I’m thinking they run just a pinch small. My feet are a bit wide at the toe and at first I thought I wouldn’t be able to get my foot in but the boot fit perfectly! The footbed is flat with no arch support so of you have arch issues I would suggest adding some arch inserts. Despite looking narrow, there seems to be just enough room for my toes with medium weight socks on. Now, about the color: I ordered the Taupe-wide calf. The description on the box matches what I ordered however the color is darker than pictured on the listing. The color of the boots I received looks more to be “Taupe” (without the wide calf). Not really a deal breaker for me even of I did want the lighter color. Ah yes, there are the pockets in each boot also. Who would have ever thought to pit pockets inside boots? The pockets and boots over all seem nicely stitched. But honestly, I don’t know if carrying a credit card or ID in the boot pockets is a great idea. I would worry that a card would eventually scootch up and out of the pocket and either end up under your foot or lost somewhere on the sidewalk… Again not a deal breaker for me because I’m not in the habit of carrying cards around in my boots anyway. So, these are nice fashion boots and would recommend them if you’re looking for something to wear with a long skirt or jeans.

Really like these boots but unfortunately the quality is not there.

Stivali comodissimi sotto al ginocchio. La qualità sembra buona e nel bordo superiore c’è un piccolo elastico per infilarlo meglio e adattarsi alla gamba. Ciononostante, se avete polpacci molto prominenti, potrebbe comunque calzare un po’ stretto.

Io porto il 36, ma in questo caso Amazon mi ha consigliato il 37.5 ed è perfetto: sia per la lunghezza del piede che per la circonferenza del mio polpaccio (muscoloso). Consiglio.
