Fun cat toy
This might seem expensive for a little cat toy but it’s worth it. It’s actually a well designed and durable toy that works really well. The obstacle avoidance detection works better than I would have expected and while it doesn’t always right itself when it tips over, most of the time it does. These two features almost make it a smart toy. The only issue I had with it was figuring out how to use the remote. It wasn’t intuitive, but once learned I had no issues. As far as what my cat thinks, she’s a lazy cat and doesn’t chase after it, but she does get into a pounce position and watches it intently for a good while, which is saying a lot keeping her attention for more than a few seconds.

This was pretty much unusable out of the box. The “tail” fell off, the unit would go back and forth via the control, but it it tipped at all it was unable to right itself, and off you go to go get it.It’s also very small, and the laser pointer is part of the remote. There are much better cat toys out there, spend the extra cash to get one.This review approved by my cats.

Scared my cat
I had high hopes for this cat toy. It can be operated by remote or on auto-pilot. It comes with a charger – no batteries necessary. When it hits a wall or object, it flips and redirects itself. It has a little bell and feather that can be attached, and my cat loves a good bell. Cool concept, but it totally freaked my cat out with the electric buzzing noise it made. He ran and hid. To be fair, it’s just the noise you would expect from most remote control devices. Honestly, a young child would probably enjoy it, but I can’t recommend it as a cat toy.

Works as advertised
This is a cool little toy for your cat. My cat was unimpressed with the remote control car and only stared at it curiously but it works as advertised without any problems. The remote also has a red light on it and that is where the magic is for my cat. She is a freak for it! She will chase that red light like a psycho kitty. It is great for wearing her out before bed. We are getting another cat to keep her company. We will try the remote control car with her and see if she is more impressed.

My cat loves this toy! It can be controlled by the remote or switched on auto and it drives itself. Rides easily on carpet and on wood floor. But dies quicker on carpets. The price is in line with other like toys.
