Great brand and price
I use these mostly for bigger wounds..also the bigger brown ones that are in regular band-aid brands are too sticky and pull my skin which creates more wounds…so I use all kinds of sizes depending on the size of the wound..quality is very good and packaged well…I always get them shipped in a Amazon box so that I get them in one piece being shipped from where ever they shipped from..stick to me and stay on in a shower if you don’t want it to.. I’ve repeatedly bought this brand and you should try them (they come in various sizes) and sometimes they go a cheaper price depending…great purchase!!!

Superior to others I’ve used at low cost
I recently had to dress an infected wound every day for several weeks. First, at a nearby Walgreens, I bought gauze dressings in several varieties and sizes, all of which proved inadequate. Finally, I settled on Walgreens 6″ by 6″ adhesive bandage at the inflated cost of $9.99 per box for just 3. So when, on Amazon, I saw ISLAND DRESSINGS’ same size dressings at $14.99 for a box of 25, I was dubious, thought they might be shoddy. I bought them anyway, and I’m happy to report that they turned out to be not just cheaper than the Walgreens product but superior–each dressing packaged more sanitarily, with a two-inch adhesive edge that holds the dressing in place more firmly than the Walgreens one yet pulls off the skin easily. Highly recommended.

Quality Product
I run a ranch and horses are prone to finding ways to hurt themselves. This is an ideal pad for leg wounds. Large enough to go down a cannon bone or around it. Works easier than wrestling a 4 x 4 with ointment to stay in place while you start to wrap.

What I love is the adhesive is stronge enough to hold the bandage in place yet loose enough that your skin doesn’t break down over long periods of useI have a permanent wound and some bandages pull your skin off.

Likes: arrived on time, intact. packaging for individual gauze dressings is perfect!The glue on the edges of the dressing is not excessive and doesn’t affect the skin.Dislikes: box the dressings came in is extremely flimsy.

Deceptive Coverage Area
#1) The “6 x 6” rectangular-shaped marketing leads the buyer to be confused by the bandage’s actual size shape.#2) The bandage is actually a SQUARE 6” x 6” that cannot cover a wound larger than 4” x 4”.# 3) The product intentionally leaves off the fact the max wound coverage area is at max 16sq” not 36sq”.#4) The above is kinda REALLY important especially when you have to change dressings daily on thin-skinned (older) patients.#5) These are NOT bandages for daily dressings and undressing. If used for daily changes: They will begin to irritate or worse rip/cut/expand/infect the Tx site area.It’s not a bad wound cover but the marketing materials mislead people to think the actual wound coverage surface area is larger than it is.You need to factor if it’s really a cost-savings if you have to use twice the # of bandages and/or modify them so the sticky edges don’t land on the wound.They stick well but seem to almost bind more tightly each passing day they are left on.That makes redressing somewhere between pretty uncomfortable to having your nose hairs waxed. Slowly or quickly – you’ll WONT be looking forward to reapplying this brand.
