Soooo many fish!! Lots of fun!
Bought these as a replacement of another brand’s that had rusted (don’t leave them in water for a long period of time… I should’ve known LOL). There’s so many different fish in this set with no repeats! My son is obsessed with Animal Crossing and he likes to use these to go fishing and pretend each fish is a different one from the game 🙂

Got these for our 2 1/2 year old nephew. Think they would work for a significant range of developmental stages.I figured the fishing pole might be a little too hard for a kid his age (too much fine motor control), but he did actually use it (in water) with a little help. For kids learning or already able to swim, they could be fun to go retrieve from around the pool.He mostly enjoyed using the included nets to scoop the fishes out of the water from the steps of our pool. Everything floated well. You can easily pull them under the water, then release and they will sort of flutter up to the surface which gives a nice lively effect. The storage bag was super handy and even works as a net to scoop them up from the water when you’re done playing.I got the smallest set (“large”), and there was plenty of variety. They are brightly colored, with lots of different animals represented; although not exactly the ones that are pictured. The kid recognized some of the animals, some were new to him, and he definitely had a handful of favorites.Not amazing quality, but it really didn’t matter. The fishes each have a small phillips head screw in them which acts as the magnetic anchor; I tightened one that was slightly loose on arrival. Also had to re-tie the worm on the end of the fishing rod that came loose during play. Because of that I would recommend no unsupervised play with these, but we were doing that anyway because water.Adults also had a little fun using the fishing rod in water while the kid played.Overall, great fun for the price.

Read before buying
NOT water toys (paint comes off when you rub off any soap suds) I only did it to one toy to test it out based on a review placed recent about this product and can confirm it does wipe away even if you dry it. There was another review stating that the nail which the magnet picks up rusts fast (so it’s best not to use it in water or don’t do it too often.) Packaging did NOT bring the hammer head shark, seahorses, sea shells, turtle, and corals, and much more, just a bunch of repeated fishes in different colors and designs on them. I had requested a replacement and even the new one brought the same things. Photo is very misleading. It does float but again, not suitable for bathe time, paint will rub off. ERY EASILY. It’s cheap plastic. Good amount of fishing and you can share with family and friends maybe just 2-4 can play together then take turns. (since I bought the one that comes with two fishing rods and two fishing nets. I believe a pair can play together and the other pair helps catch the fish with their nets and then share and swap. But I was really looking forward to the variety of marine life not just fish but the hammerhead shark would have been nice, turtle, shells, corals, etc. when the heck do you see a duck in the Ocean/Sea water? (Yes I had to say “wtf” in my head to avoid my video be taken down lol) a lot of repeats not enough turtle, hammerhead, shells, and corals like photo advertised.

Our oldest son gave this to our youngest for Christmas. This continues to be one of the most played with toys even a month after Christmas. Very simple toy, but gives a lot of Joy. The one pole has lost its reel and their has been some minor breaks here and there but for the amount of use this toy is receiving I would say its doing well. The toy is pretty expensive but I believe it is worth the cost.
