    Good recipes!
    This book has become our main cookbook in our house. It has excellent recipes that are/can be low FODMAP, and are reasonably high in fiber. We have tagged over half the recipes as ones we want to use, and many are in regular rotation now – highly recommend!

    Gut Health cookbook
    I first got this book from the local library to see what I thought, as it wasn’t cheap new. I liked the recipe and format a lot so ordered it used to save quite a bit of $ and am very pleased with the condition and the vendor. Each recipe has a color photo and has easy and concise options to make it GF and FODMAP low. It includes lots of options for every meal that are not laborious to create. And the ingredients are all ones that are common to a normal grocery store.

    Not strictly low FODMAP
    I bought this cookbook because I’m new to low FODMAP and wanted some recipes I could make. The problem is less than half of these recipes are actually low FODMAP and very few can be modified. Still a good cookbook for cooking healthy meals if you don’t have dietary restrictions, but I kind of thought this cookbook was made for people with dietary restrictions and only a few recipes fit the bill.

    So very impressed
    I am so very impressed with this book and all of the information it provides. Great, great recipes too. Simple, delicious, with many normal food recipe selections. Some books like this usually have odd recipes that you may curl your face too, but I haven’t found too many here and those that I have, I’ve tried and have been quite suprised that is was much better tasting than I first thought. It has been easy to mix and match to fit my palate, along with helping me with ease to correct my gut issues. Oh, not to mention, this book has helped me to want to cook again. I highly recomend this book.Thank you America’s Test Kitchen!

    Another great ATK cookbook title!
    I love ATK cookbooks. It’s so nice knowing that the recipes inside are fully researched and extensively tested. This book is as good as all of the other ATK titles that I own. It has been an excellent addition to my cookbook collection. When the day comes for us to downsize, my ATK titles will definitely stay with me!

    Many recipes are not low fodmap
    The beginning of the book lists various items that are particularly problematic on the fodmap scale and then it gives recipe after recipe with significant amounts of those ingredients – lots of beans, lentils, mushrooms, lots of whole wheat pasta, brussel sprouts, red bell peppers, beets, cabbage, cauliflower. Most recipes can be adjusted for fodmap but given that we bought it for fodmap-friendly recipes, it’s frustrating.

    I have struggled with food “allergies” my whole life. Through many years of struggling I have learned what I can and can’t eat. This book is real dietician and medical science. I wish I had this book 30 years ago.
