Very accurate and simple to use
My insurance pays for a device that was inaccurate and the strips were one of the most expensive on the market. When I ran out of strips I borrowed my husband’s contour and loved everything about it. I am not an “app” type of person but found the app very easy to navigate and export for my Doctor’s review. The strips are reasonably priced and the accuracy of the device make this system well worth the out of pocket cost. I have tested accuracy against multiple devices, including hospitals and GCMs and found that this device to be extremely accurate, unlike my old device which was off by 70-100, which is simply unacceptable. I also bought the control solution and know my readings are accurate. I love that it requires less blood and allows a second dip on the same test strip because sometimes my fingers get cold and this makes getting a good drop of blood tough. I highly recommend this device.

I would never buy another glucose meter after using this one. I like that it’s slim easy to hold in my hand not round or bulky. It reads your results quickly the little like on the end is a nice bonus to tell you if you’re in range. I can even check my bcg in the dark with this meter and the light on the end.
