GARBAGE
I tested this on my child and it worked. So clearly I understand how to use this device. I tried my cats front leg, tail and hind leg. Front leg and tail pumped up and release pump up and release pump up and release and zero reading. I had to shut it off both times due to it squeezing the life out of his leg and tail. Now I have a pissed off cat but I am determined to get a reading. I apply it to his hind leg and it pumps up and starts releasing and it continues to count down and I think we are going to get a reading and nope… instead I get low signal… I give up! My cat is pissed off and now hiding from me. The directions for use with animals are non-existent. Human error is likely the culprit but the lack of how to use the device is the issue. The instruction booklet spends more time telling you how to set the day and time then it does on how to actually use it. So unless you have personal knowledge on how to use this device and or have overly docile pet (think human on way too much weed) do not bother. It is just another way to make your pet want to hide from you. Thankfully I am still in the return window. And my cat will get over it with a little PEMF time.

Looked used, then looked new after removing protective film
I think some of the reviews I read are mistaking. After I selected “Small” in the settings, the monitor had no issue getting my dogs blood pressure. I did not have to shave the leg. It just takes a bit longer to get a reading compared to my old monitor. Also, there is a protective film over the display that makes the unit look used and scratched. Remove the film to reveal the unscratched display.

This is consistent with itself, but 20-30 off on the systolic reading from the veterinary high-end BP machine. I took it to the vet and compared it side-by-side with their professional machine. I am still using it but know to adjust by 20-30 on the top number. (bottom number means nothing on cats.)

Blood Pressure Monitor for Pets
Very nice to be able to monitor Blood Pressure on my elderly cats at home. But not the most accurate according to my vet. I brought it in on one of our visits and they compared it to their medical grade machine. This is consistently ~20 points higher than theirs. But knowing that has helped me. I will continue using it.I wish it came with an electrical cord because the battery power alternative die fast. I found a cord from another device that fits.

Doesn’t work– plain and simple. Save yourself time and frustration.
Ease of use: the instructions border on incomprehensible. If you market a product in the US, the least you can do is translate in competent English. The instructions are also printed in tiny characters that required us to use a magnifying lens. There is no section on how to actually measure blood pressure. The video provided is useless. We weren’t able to find a single video that showed how the gauge actually works. Anyway, after several attempts during which the device kept giving a message ‘signal lost’, and after reading several reviews from unsatisfied customers, we’re returning the device. We’ll either have to shell more $$ for a professional level one, or just keep taking our pup to the vet.

I liked this product because it appears to be accurate. One of my Poms is skittish and her blood pressure range for a dog was slightly on the high side. That is to be expected if you have a dog that is nervous. Then my other Pom is so easy going and relaxed and his blood pressure was normal. The infant cuff is perfect for small dogs with thin legs. The price is fair compared to the higher end models. I bought this because my Poms are getting older and not because they have heart problems. I use it for monitoring their pressure for now.
