Works very well
Works very well. It’s secure on the dash, and holds my phone securely as well. The only potential issue is that it could block some of the driver’s view if he/she isn’t too tall. My wife moved hers slightly to the right on her dashboard which gives her an unobstructed view of the road as well as the ability to see the phone. Terrific product.

Works, but not great
First things first. I drive a 2018 rav4. This does not stay clipped to the dash above the instrument panel. The weight of the phone makes it slide slowly off.However, it will stay on the steering wheel, so it works for me since I’m using it to hold my phone while I watch shows and movies on my lunch break.

Best phone mount for vehicle
Saw this on TikTok and decided to give it a try. So happy I did. Well made and very sturdy. My only complaint is it is a little awkward getting the phone on and off. Even with that being said I definitely recommend

Exactly what I needed!
I drive a 2013 Chevy Avalanche (important to note, based on the form factor for the dashboard) and this mount is *perfect*. I have tried several others before this one – ones that mount in the air vent, ones that insert into the slot for the CD player, etc. Most were either cheaply made; or they weren’t steady enough (shaking with movement of the truck); or I had to look away from the road to check the GPS, which isn’t always a safe option (!); or, they blocked something else on the console (like the mount which used the CD player slot, blocking the radio display).This mount is made of good material, and the clip for mounting on the dashboard has a heavy-duty sprint which holds it in place nicely. I was able to position it right-of-center, so it isn’t in my direct line of sight – but still close enough to take a quick glance without losing attention on the road in front of me.If you want to move it to left-of-center, you can do that as well – that’s a personal preference kind of thing, whatever works for you.The pivot points are perfect, at least for my usage – I’m able to position the phone exactly the way I want it to sit for the best viewing (orientation, angle, etc.)It took a few tries to make placing and removing the phone “smooth”, as it is an “always-on” kind of compression grip for the phone (as opposed to the mounts which close and have to be release via a button or the like), but that was trivial – once you get used to it, you forget that it was ever an issue.(FYI, I liked it so much I bought one for my brother …)
