A miracle for my super fine hair!
I have fine hair and hair tried soooooo many kinds of products. Never have found anything that I would instantly say “WOW this works”. Seriously, not even trying to use WOW there but I did. I am so tired of throwing out or giving away full size bottles of things I bought the travel size to try it because I never even trust that anything will be great for me, I even slowed down buying everything I read about because I am constantly disappointed. I paired this with the WOW XL Bombshell and it seriously was impressive! I started with the root lift and added the bombshell. Sprayed my roots first with the Raise the Roof then spritzed 2 pumps into my hands of the XL bombshell and my hair is so much more voluminous, and it is holding the style! If you have fine hair you know this is a freaking miracle. If you are not sure, do what I did and try the travel size. I just ordered full size and now have travel size for when I am actually traveling. I am happy!

I applied this on damp hair, blow dried it with a round brush (to create a blow out effect), then I applied my overnight heatless curling rods and went to sleep. I loved the result!As I was blow drying it, I did see a lift in the roots. As I was grabbing strands of hair to dry, the thickness of the root was significant. Roots felt super plush and full. It does leave some sort of thickening residue because the roots feel very full upon touch, but the residue is not sticky or visible- I’m not sure how to explain it. Like if you try to run your fingers through your roots, you’ll feel some resistance from the fullness, but it’s not sticky.I blow dried my roots with the round brush, but did not see as much lift as the video in the listing of this product. I think I have to play around with technique.In the morning, I went to the gym/sweated and I could still see pretty good lift in my roots.Next, I want to try this for when I style hair right before going out- I think I’ll see better results this way as I can style and go. I feel like this would hold the fullness very well and I could see the true potential of this product. My first use was done with overnight curls and I saw good results, but I think it’ll work even better when it’s freshly styled. I’d def recommend this product.

Awful! Dries Out Hair & Strips It of Shine.. Do Not Buy! It’s Non-Returnable
After only a few hours, the product becomes very gritty feeling, and your hair will feel dry and porous to the touch. If you read the ingredients, the first one is denatured alcohol. The rest are other chemicals like polymers.The next morning after using it, my hair felt gummy at the roots where the product had been applied, and it looked dry and dull. My scalp also felt itchy. I didn’t want to risk any further damage or breakage, so I immediately tried to shampoo it out.When I got my hair wet in the shower, it felt weird to the touch, like it had something bonded to it. The first shampoo didn’t remove the buildup or icky coated feeling. I shampooed a second time, something I never do, and it started to feel slightly better, but I could still feel something wasn’t right with my hair. Usually after shampooing, it feels clean and smooth. I didn’t want to do a third shampoo, so I used my regular conditioner and hoped for the best .After blowdrying my hair, it still looked dull and had none of its regular shine or softness which is not at all how my hair usually looks and feels after washing it. The gritty, gummy, feeling at the roots was gone and so was the itching, but my hair still doesn’t feel like it did before I used this product.It definitely damaged my hair. I wish I had checked out the ingredients more thoroughly before buying it.I noted that most of the reviewers who posted a photo or video did so immediately after styling, following their first use of the product, which is when it looks and feels its best. After only a few hours of being in your hair, that’s when the damaging effects will start to appear.This product is getting super over-hyped on social media by influencers. please don’t make the same mistake I did and fall for it .If you need lift at the roots, just use a good quality hairspray and styling products. I reached out to ColorWow with my concerns, and they offered to exchange this product for a different one if I return it. However, after reviewing the list of similar sounding ingredients in their other formulations, I’m going to take the financial hit and the lesson to be more careful in the future. I spent $25 on some thing that is genuinely terrible and should be pulled from the market.

Amazon lists this product as being unscented. I purchased a bottle and nowhere on the bottle does it state that it is unscented. I have allergies and boy did they kick in after using this product. Amazon, you need to change your description of this particular product please! That is why I am only rating this as a 3.
