A must have
I absolutely love this product and my baby girl loves it more! We have had it since August and have been using it since September. We mostly use it in the car and when our baby is doing tummy time, she becomes so entranced. I credit this toy for the reason why she always does so well during the tummy time. We live about thirty minutes from town and use this for the long drive, she loves watching the sea-life make their rotations! Hands down the best investment we made!

Great product
Purchased for my daughter’s crib to help her go to sleep. She loves to watch the movement and listen to the sound, you can use both ocean sounds or music with the movement or not. She prefers the movement with ocean sounds over the music. It seems a bit loud at first, but does gradually get softer so it is fine. She can turn it on herself with a button in the front which is good most of the time, but she has accidently kicked it on and woken up from it. I just moved it up so she has to actually reach for it to get it on which seems to work. It is adjustable with straps on the back. Good purchase, works well!

Babies and toddlers absolutely love this
Our grandson spent 3 days in the hospital with RSV. While he was there, the nurse brought in this sleep soother. It was a God send! Not only was it soothing, it provided entertainment for him as he was getting better. He loved it so much, we bought one for him to have at home!Later, when he became a toddler, he loved to take it inside his “tents” (blankets over chairs) at home. Also, a shout out to the generous people who donated a few of these devices to the pediatric ward!

Excellent soothing toy
This toy is great! My son (4 mo) loves it. I have put it in his crib a few times to occupy him for a short time while I got things done. It’s very sturdy. Most of the time, though, I keep this toy propped against a wall by his play mat. It’s great for tummy time. It’s also great for when he’s a little worked up because the sounds, motions, and light is very soothing. I like that it has 2 levels of volume control. I don’t really use the remote control but I guess it’s a nice perk.

I have a love/hate relationship with this thing
I have mixed feelings about this toy. My baby does enjoy it and it helps him get to sleep, which is great. But it has some flaws. I’d love to see a new version that improves on this idea:- it’s well known that blue light interferes with sleep, so it’s a confusing choice for this kind of toy. We usually use it with only music unless he’s particularly worked up. The blue light is pretty bright when it’s on.- some of the music is quite energetic. My baby goes to sleep with this music but I feel it would be more effective if it had calmer music. Fur Elise isn’t my first choice for lullaby.- it’s too loud even on the lower volume setting. I try to start it while I’m feeding him before bed so it’s quieter by the time I put him in the crib.- this thing eats batteries. Even in music-only mode it doesn’t last that long. You will need to get rechargeable batteries to avoid paying a second mortgage in batteries. I would love a version with a built in battery that could be recharged via USB.- When the battery is low, it has a very bright flashing red light right on the top. It’s very annoying. It should be a much smaller light and it should be on the back, facing away from the crib.Overall, I kind of wish we had gone with some other kind of sleep music, but at this point my baby definitely associates these songs with sleep, and I do like that he can activate it himself. I’m not sure there’s another product that functions like this so if you are needing a little extra help getting your baby to sleep, it’s worth a try.

Second one is perfect after receiving defective one first.
UPDATE: Amazon sent a replacement and it works perfectly! I’d use it for myself as it’s so cute!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I have long suspected that some mfrs are selling defective items that failed quality control. The product box I received was banged up & torn. Amazon placed it in a good shipping box, but shouldn’t have sent it even if it worked as the product box was too damaged to give as a gift. The defects were an octopus getting stuck and jerking with a clicking noise, the music cutting out & volume level didn’t change, the light blinked on and off instead of being steady. This happened with Melissa & Doug too. I’m tired of receiving defective items that mfrs sell here & get away with it. Companies doing this know most buyers won’t do the steps to return.

LIFESAVER!
okay, i don’t write reviews but i just had to for this one. this just for delivered to us about 4 hours ago and it has already been a LIFESAVER. my 3 month old is going through a growth spurt right now and is very fussy, but after putting batteries in this thing and turning it on, he has been the most content he’s been in a while. my fiancé and i have been able to eat a meal uninterrupted, do some laundry, and even clean the house up a bit because this toy has occupied our son so well and kept him happy. thank you baby einstein !!

My baby loves it!
My baby LOVES this thing. He smiles and squeals little happy baby noises and kicks his little legs while the music plays. I didn’t even realize at first that it has a quiet mode, different movement and light modes, and you can slide the volume option to off so baby doesn’t accidentally turn it on in his or her sleep. It attaches securely to the crib so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over.Great for keeping baby entertained and happy, and even great for a tummy time motivator! I turned this on at night and he was cooing happily at the glowing light and reaching his hand toward the little sea creatures. Absolutely adorable! And as an added bonus I don’t find the music annoying at all! So many things have annoying sounds and this one is just perfect and automatically turns off after awhile. I must say the remote doesn’t work super well but that’s not a big deal to me, I’m right near my baby anyway so it’s easy to just press the button again.

Only lasted a few months, but my girl sure loved it while it lasted! After a while it started to make a loud and horrible scraping sound when it was playing, so I retired it and have now switched to the Fisher price forest one instead, which she also loves.
