Made it rain by washing my car. The product’s effects are instant! The shine is deep and itrepells water nicely. After it rained, I just used a blower slightly dry and water beaded off really well. The remaining water left very, very slight marks. Less obvious than usual. And the shine seemed like a deeper hue then prior. I normally go back and spray the windshield with a another cleaner but didnt feel the need to. It just looks soooooo good on it’s own. Cleaning power is pretty good too as is the foaming. I have it ceramic coated as well. I

Great shine even on a car without a professional ceramic coating
My car is not professionally ceramic coated but using this has produced the best post-wash shine of anything i’ve tried (Meguiar’s, Turtle Wax etc). The product is quite thin/liquid and doesn’t make a ton of foam compared to some, however, the results were impressive once done. I would recommend you try it if you are on the fence. The smell is not particularly nice but I’ve not found many car cleaning products that are!

Excellent car wash for ceramic coated vehicles. Just had my new truck coated at the dealership, and didn’t get much info in the way of caring for the coating. Thank God for YouTube. It did a fantastic job, light on the suds, but apparently it doesn’t require a lot of suds to do an amazing job. What can I say, WOW!!!!

Bottle leaks ALOT
The product in the bottle works well. I don’t know that it would be different on a dark colored versus light colored vehicle, but I’m not a chemist so you’ll have to decide that for yourself. Make sure that you don’t let the hose or anything else tip the bottle over in your driveway or garage, even with the nozzle and cap tightly closed, because it will ALL leak out if you don’t catch it right away. The nozzle doesn’t seal when closed. Other than that, it’s nice and foamy and leaves a nice shine.

Amazing Product! Smells Like…
…rotten grape bubble gum. Yes, rotten. I didn’t know bubble gum *could* rot, but now I’m convinced. Seriously — this stuff smells horrible. Passers by even commented on the smell of this product, and not in a good way. However…The product redeems itself in its functionality, and FAR EXCEEDED my expectations.I did a full paint correction and ceramic coat (Avalon King Armor Shield IX) on my totally opaque black Lexus in July 2021, and was pleased with the results, so I didn’t really expect this Chemical Guys product to do much beyond maybe help the ceramic coat last a little longer.To my astonishment, the Chemical Guys HydroSudz Ceramic High Shine wash truly *did* make my car shinier. Seriously, it was blinding (see pics). I totally had retinal burn for a minute after taking those pics. In addition to that, it seemed to *enhance* the hydrophobic properties of the existing ceramic coating, and drying the car took very few towels (which is great, because I hate folding those things afterward). I probably could have driven it around the block and it would have been totally dry.Additionally (I know it’s bad), but I actually washed my car after just having driven it briefly (the hood was still warm) *and* washed it in the (mottled) sunlight at about 50 degrees. I was expecting some streaks or spots because of this, but…nothing. Clearly the Chemical Guys wash played a part in this.Another comment by passers by: “Wow! That car looks like I could eat off of it!”Please don’t. (I mean, with a car this shiny and clean, you totally *could*…but just don’t. The food probably would just slide right off, anyway. 😉

the only downside is the smell….and my microfibre towels have the colour of my car when im drying them, not sure if this is taking off the paint or not but make sure to keep the car wet and not dry with this chemical
