Good water fountain so far
Perfect! I just got this in last night. I have had the pioneer pet fountain that was a ceramic version of their metal one they offer now. I like that this holds a lot of water and has a constant flow to entice my cats to want to drink more water. I think it will be very durable since it is made of stainless steel; this also make a it look really nice. It was really easy unboxing, cleaning and putting together. I also enjoy listening to the sound of the water.

Quiet and easy to clean!!
My cats love this water fountain, even my more skittish cat (pictured in review). Seems to encourage them to drink a little more than they usually do. Doesn’t make much noise at all, just a quiet water trickle. Very affordable. Cleaned mine after about 2 weeks and it was so easy to disassemble and clean in the sink. Just make sure to detach the motor first. For my three cats, I think the water lasts roughly 5 days. Love the led window to easily see when they’re running low. Way better for them than drinking still and/or unfiltered water. Give it a try!

Picky cat actually uses this!!!
Have gone through several iterations of cat water systems trying to find one that our picky feline would use daily. This one checks all my needs and the cat actually uses it daily so it was money well spent. The thing I love the most is how easy it is to clean and maintain the fountain. The top plate has all the hardware attached to it and so lifting that up and out of the base gives you full access to dissemble the unit and easily clean the pump, filter, fittings, etc. The unit is silent, I cannot hear it running unless I have my ear right down by the fountain. The base holds quite a bit of water, enough I don’t have to refill it for a few days. But the big plus is I see our cat actually using it daily so I feel she is getting more hydration then she did before we got this fountain.

I Think It’s Great…the Felines Believe it’s Decorative!
As with most of my consumer purchases, I tend to do my homework and this cat fountain is no exception.First, I’d like to say that our cats are both rescue animals, a momma cat and her now adult son; both treat anything brought into their carefully controlled / managed domain as something to immediately meet with skepticism. The drinking fountain was no exception. Since I unboxed the fountain and removed the water dish in the room where I placed the fountain, both cats have made my position clear – they only keep me around to prepare their daily meals and clean the litter boxes.It’s strange, both are mesmerized by the flowing water and they seemed pleased with the gentle noise the fountain makes. They purr while sitting next to it watching the moving water, but much to my continued disappointment, neither cat considers it a drinking source. I went as far as trying different waters from four different premium water brands (they turned their noses up at the glass bottled water from Norway, too – all while giving me continued looks of disdain) in my continued attempts to get them to try the fountain. The results didn’t change. It pains me greatly neither choose to try it. I’m hopelessly optimistic but even I have limits…I’m open to suggestions on how to encourage the felines to give it a whirl. My powers of persuasion with this species (Felis catus) apparently fall short of that required.The water fountain is beautiful for an animal drinking appliance. It’s well built from quality stainless steel, easy to clean, and more. It comes with an easily replaced filter and its instructions are complete. It even has an illuminated window into its reservoir that allows you to check the water level without removing the top. I find its tranquil blue light soothing – the cats remain ambivalent. This pampered pet water fountain is among the best I’ve researched. If the finicky felines at my place continue to just watch it, I’m taking it to my room and I’ll sleep listening to the soothing sounds of running water.

Nice fountain
I bought this originally because my one cat loves to drive from the faucet, so I was hoping a water fountain that had a similar spout to a sink would be very enticing for him… he does love it, but he drinks from the well and not the spout.But this fountain is very easy to clean. The filters seem to do a great job keeping gross stuff out of the water. Overall, the stainless steel is holding up, though I am starting to see some wear around the edges where both of my cats lick the water up from. It is quiet and runs well. I would recommend it.

This is a good product
This is a good fountain. I am on my third pump however. I contacted the seller & they replaced the motor for me for no charge & it arrived within a few days. This new pump is much quieter. I like that it is stainless steel, easier to clean than plastic ones I have had. You do need to be dilligent about cleaning it weekly & changing filters. All 3 of our cats & our dog love this fountain!

Amazing Customer Service
I bought this fountain back in August and my cats love it! It’s so quiet and I do notice they’re drinking more water than with their previous fountain. I think they like the longer spout compared to the old fountain. It’s also way easier to clean than plastic fountains. I had a plastic fountain that would get so gross. This one stays relatively clean and is soooo easy to wash. I did have some problems with premature rusting spots inside the fountain. I checked reviews to see if others had similar problems with rusting, and I couldn’t really find anything. So, I think I just got a defective one. I reached out to their customer service as Amazon directed me to, and Haley from Neareal, the manufacturer, immediately sent me a replacement. Her confidence in the product convinced me to give the fountain another chance and so far no problems with the replacement. Thanks Haley!

It’s a little higher than our previous fountain and I think she likes that. She took right to it. It’s quiet and easy to clean. Because it’s stainless steel and no light exposure there’s no constantly checking for any green forming in the reservoir edges. Very easy to change filters as well.
