Update: stray cat loved it on first try. Held it down to her while she rubbed against me and when she rubbed her face on it (accidentally) she made the cat equivalent of a surprised face lol. Spent the next 20 min brushing her in my lap. Stray approved.I picked this brush out for a stray cat we’ve come to care for outside. It was the only brush I could find with a brush head smaller than 4 inches. I was looking to get another safari brush since we know we like that one, but it wasn’t available on Amazon so went with this. I’m sure our stray will love it once she realizes what it’s for.For now, tested on my 2 indoor cats. One boy loves to be brushed so he enjoyed it, my other, tolerates brushing and seemed fine. I somehow missed that it has a squishy handle in the description but that was a nice surprise. Very comfortable. When you press the button to eject the hair, it does sound a little plasticy, which gives me the tiniest worry about how long it’ll hold up, but till then, I’m happy. My only “complaint” is that when you eject the hair, the very tips of the bristles still poke thru the panel so you still have to kind of pick out the hair. But that’s just if I’m looking for a fault, otherwise it’s great. Smooth button, bristles we’re all the way they should be. It was already partially out of the package, the pieces inside didn’t seem to hold it well. But I’m faulting that to the fact that it was in a box with no stuffing so it was able to move all around during transit. Not sure if I’ll buy a second one now since my cats brush still works, but as long as this one holds up, I’m gonna buy another when I need to replace theirs.
