Great watch does what it says
Maybe I have a different idea of what constitutes “complicated”, but this watch is the least complex digital watch I’ve ever owned. I figured out how to set and use the watch in less than five minutes. No worries.The vibration alarm is perfect for me. I am a bit hard of hearing, and this solves a lot of problems for me. While the vibration alert might not be sufficient to wake me, it does quite well in alerting me to alarms that I’ve set for reminders. Both the alarm function and timer functions perform perfectly. If you need more than one alarm to set, I’m sure Casio has a watch with that feature. Just not at this price point.I’ve listened to the audible alarm, and I just can’t hear it in ambient noise conditions. But that vibration alert works perfectly.The stop watch works well, as does the illumination. The illuminator is a sort of white light that appears to originate from the bottom of the watch face, and it makes the dial very easy to read in the dark.As far as the ten year battery, well who knows? I don’t know when the watch was made, or when the battery was put in, so only time will tell. Doesn’t really matter, as changing one of these batteries just involves some precision screwdrivers and a new battery. Takes all of five minutes to accomplish.Go ahead, it’s a decent watch for the price.

I ordered this and so far really like it. I had also bought the gshock 5600bb1 blackout version. I think the gshock band is better, but otherwise this watch was the better choice for me and I returned the 5600. The display on this is slightly larger so it is more readable. Most important this has WAY easier to use buttons, they work everytime easily. Like the light button on the front.This came with a gray band, which I swapped for a black one and the watch looks much nicer now. so much so that I’m surprised Casio didn’t sell them like this. Black case, black readout, black band. well worth the expense of upgrading the strap and $8 for local shop to install it. Also the size of this watch was a bit larger than the 5600gshock, but not overly large at all. 7.25 wrist and I like the fit of this alot. So far I really like it and was $28 well spent.

Acuracy
The most import important thing to me is that it keeps accurate time. In my opinion Casio is probably the most accurate of the moderately priced watches. I sync the time with the naval observatory clock. My previous watch would be 30 seconds ahead within 2 weeks. This watch appears to spot on since my last sync 5 days ago. I expect this watch to be well within the the +/- 30 seconds per month as advertised. Not all of them may be this accurate. Depends on the crystal they used. Also easy to read. The illumination is excellent in the dark. Another important feature is it displays day, date and time on one screen. No need to push any buttons to get the additional info.

Antes que nada tienes que saber que la correa es gris y eso le da un punto a favor para combinar con tu ropa la estética muy bienBuen tamaño funciones básicas recomiendo usar la vibración solo si es necesario ya que se gasta más energía su luz led muy captiva aún a plena luz solar si es tu primer Casio este es tu mejor opción resiste golpes pero no arañazos ya que es acrílica la carátula y por el precio excelente lo recomiendo hasta para nadar ya que sin problema y Fue en el mar esto es algo básico pero con un toque de actualidad para los que no conocen de Modelos Casio hasta lo pueden confundir con un modelo más caro como sus hermanos de la familia g-shock pero esa es otra historia

As a driver in London, I needed 3 things from a watch; big display, worry-free toughness, and a vibration alarm to alert me when my parking time is coming to an end. I was going to by a GShock at 10 times the price (I still will – I love them) but getting a vibration alarm was hard to find. This Casio is cheap enough not to worry about how I’m treating it, seems tough enough to put up with hauling luggage, car maintenance, and not scratching the car when I’m standing too near. It resembles a G Shock, and has a larger than most digital display which glows blue (love the light button being on the front). The vibration is really strong on the wrist and is essential (better than my phone in my back pocket) for reminding me to head back to the car/extend when my parking time is running out.Bottom line: Can’t go wrong with a Casio no matter what price point you choose.
