Great Budget Friendly Watch
It’s not solar powered. A little hard to use the dial to change the day of the week and date; but easy to set the time – not really sure; it’s my first watch. I am used to digital. Love the stainless steel color and black dial. Easy to size down to fit. Buttons functionality not too easy, like i mentioned about the day and date-but i guess for the price it’s just fine. Budget friendly brand for my first grown up wrist watch.

I was surprised… now your turn.
First, let’s put things in context: I paid just $31 for this watch. This isn’t a Rolex or any other premium brand, and I knew that when I ordered it. But when it arrived, my first impressions were mixed. The watch was smaller than I expected and less metallic than I’d imagined based on the pictures. At first glance, it felt like a cheap watch for a cheap price. But then I put it on my wrist, it started to make sense. The Casio MRW-200HD wears much smaller than its advertised size. Although some sellers claim it’s a bold 43mm, it feels more like a 38mm on the wrist. That’s not a bad thing. This understated size is what makes it such a surprising gem.As someone who typically gravitates toward large-faced watches, I was skeptical. But this watch taught me an important lesson: smaller can be just as impressive. It sits comfortably, looks sleek, and transitions well between casual and semi-formal settings. If you’re someone considering classical watches, the MRW-200HD is the perfect stepping stone. It offers an accessible entry point into appreciating the versatility and charm of more understated timepieces. That started as a $31 gamble ended with me reevaluating my preferences. No, it’s not a premium watch, but it doesn’t need to be. The Casio MRW-200HD-78VCF is proof that good things can come in small packages, and you don’t need a 44mm+ watch to make a statement. I will recommend this watch any day. Just experience the size and fit for a very affordable price, you will be surprised.

Great watch for the money
I brought the Casio MRW-200H watch from Amazon for about $22 in November 2024 and am quite satisfied.Four strong points. First, the watch feels as weightless as a feather, and its resin band is soft and pliable. Together, these make it possible to forget the watch is on your wrist. (Note, however, that the watch face is large and the band is long, so this watch may not fit people with small wrists.) Second, the watch is readable at a glance, even for people like me with 63-year-old eyes. The reason is the large watch face plus the high contrast between white numbers and hands and the black background. The day and date are also readily readable, more so than in other, more expensive analog watches I’ve seen. Third, unlike many inexpensive watches, the bezel does indeed rotate, moving both CW and CCW. Fourth, setting the time, day, and date is straightforward and easy. As the instructions warn, try not to do it between 9 pm and 4 am, otherwise, as I discovered, the day or date or both might not fully advance. (If that happens, just wait until 6 (am or pm) and reset it.)One weak point is the lume, that is, the phosphorescent green glow. Therefore, I award four stars, not five. All three watch hands as well as all of the numbers are painted with lume, but under most circumstances it is barely visible. Holding the watch under a light helps, but within minutes the glow fades. If you are expecting a watch face that strongly glows in the dark, you will be disappointed. However, for the dark-adapted eyes I have when waking up in the night, I find the lume to good enough to read the time, though just barely. Finally, here are some specifications from the single sheet of instructions provided. Accuracy is +/- 20 seconds per month, a value common to most Casio watches. Water resistance holds up to a pressure of 10 bar, but would I recommend trying that, or even bathing with the watch on? No! The life of the SR626SW battery is about three years. (Note that Casio also advertises watches with a ten-year battery life.)Overall, this watch is a great deal for the money!

Totalmente recomendable.

This is probably the most practical watch I’ve ever owned. White background and black letters visually easy to read. Date and day is a bonus as is the 24 hour face. Bought it on sale which even made the purchase sweeter.
