Great taste that my 3- and 5-year olds love
This had a high amount of dha and epa, which is what I wanted in a fish oil supplement for my kids. They never complained about the taste, and I also thought the oil tasted good (we got the lemon flavor). I gave my two kids a spoonful every night, and we had no spoilage. We’ve since started buying the Whole Foods brand version of this for adults because it’s cheaper. But this is still a good value given the amount of dha and epa.

I was looking for something to help with my 7 yr old sons hyperactivity but was absolutely not going to put him on medication. He was getting in trouble at school constantly, principals office and all. I had started him on the Feingold Diet (no artificial ingredients, dyes, etc.) about a month ago and it was helping but wanted to add omega 3 because I’ve heard it helps as well. I just had a parent teacher conference today at school and his teacher said he is like a totally different child, especially in the past two weeks (which is when I started the Carlson’s Fish Oil). His teacher is absolutely amazed at the transformation. I don’t know if it was the diet, the fish oil, or a combination of both, but it is working wonders for my son. He has no problem taking it, I just gave him some and he said “yummy!” I’ve tried it myself and it has a slight lemon flavor and that is it, no fish taste at all, I was surprised. I seen where other reviewers said it tasted bad but I shake mine up very well before giving it, maybe that helps, I’m not for sure. I will definitely be ordering more of this it is a life saver for my son. Thank you Carlson Laboratories.

This is a value for money product . I personally take it instead of taking fish oil capsules. I know this is in the trigylecride form which is like the natural form found actually in fish, The taste is great and there isn’t the slightest fishy taste or smell, next thing I will try giving it to my daughter , hope she likes it.It organizes my bowel movement and improves my mood , not sure if it can compete with cod liver oil in terms of hormonal balance but i use it with cod liver oil alternately and my cycles couldn’t be better. My daughter is okay also with taste , i give it to her like three times a week and she is fine with it and i have noticed she is more focused and stable , less edgy while taking it .. the taste is perfect she is not very impressed with it but is not refusing to take it which is an achievement to me.. she just says it is too lemony mammy…:)Edit : my daughter stopped taking it , she now hates the taste . It is not the product’s mistake yet I am taking a star out , I still insist she takes it prior to her term exams and reward her by giving her a cookie or a chocolate when she does. I do that cause I reaaly noticed that this fish oil really improves her concentration .

Taste is fine, feels like olive oil.
My daughter had to start taking 2 grams of fish oil everyday while she is on accutane because her triglycerides are low, so I looked for a liquid form because she has a hard time taking pills.I came across this and read the reviews so I was hesitant for her to take it because she is also a very picky eater. I’m glad I tried it because it really doesn’t taste like much of anything, it’s just an olive oil type consistency.My daughter took her first dose straight up and said “it doesn’t taste like anything, but it feels like olive oil.” She told me to try it the 2nd day, so I did and I agree…it does have a hint of orange, but it definitely feels like you are swallowing olive oil.She has since started putting the 1/2 teaspoon serving in a little bit of orange juice and still takes it no problem. I would definitely recommend!!!

My children both would not take this even in milk or juice. It is Fishy and foul in taste. When I approached the seller to address the issue they refused to refund me and told me to be a more responsible buyer. This is a very expensive product and it is completely unusable for us. Sadly the seller showed very little care for my experience and shut me down with a, I can only receive, as a sarcastic comment.
