Great fun lego set
I myself love Legos and this lego set is just want I was looking for. My son is a big fan of Jurassic world. It’s very well packaged and comes with clear instructions. The lego pieces are very small as it is an intricate design. It’s great for someone who loves building lego. Highly recommend as a gift as well for 8+

Fun! A little patience is needed though
I had been eyeing the Lego brand Natural History Museum set for some time now but didn’t want to spend $300 on a set that would only take me a few days and would be too clunky to display somewhere in my small home. Therefore when I saw this museum set for only $50 after a coupon, I thought I’d give it a try.I was worried about the mixed reviews on here. It seemed people either loved it or hated it. I’m only halfway done with the set but I don’t regret my purchase and am enjoying building it. The directions are just as detailed as Lego sets are (easy to understand step by step pictures) and so far all the pieces have been there. Each bag even has a few extras thrown it. I definitely see where some people are coming from regarding the pieces not always sticking well. The majority of the time I didn’t have any issues but every once and a while I’d get to a complex piece (Skeleton, roof, etc) But if you have model glue and a bit of patience you won’t have any issue putting it together.The set is also the perfect size. After getting the box I was worried it was going to be a large build. But its actually quite small and compact. Perfect for displaying without taking up an inordinate amount of space like LEGO sets tend to do.For 50$ after the Amazon coupon, I’d say this set was 100% worth it.

Falls apart-not all pieces there
This is the first model I have put together that was a mess. When one piece was added to the model, others would fall off. I had to resort to using super glue. Missing parts. Luckily, I had pieces from other kits I used. Although, a green block on a white dinosaur was odd. My nerves barely survived from the assembly. In the future, I will not buy another kit from this seller.

Fun to put together, the roof design a little difficult, plenty of extra parts except the set was missing a few parts so was unable to complete one dinosaur. I was pleased with the completed design

Bought this dinosaur fossil set for my 8 year old son, he is totally into dinosaurs. When I received them I realized they were for an older person, but I thought I would go ahead and let him try. He put them together quickly with no help, the instruction provided clear directions. cool with lots of details, super fun for everybody to play with.Value for money

Customer service wasn’t available
This set is a cute concept, but a very fragile build. We didn’t end up building the top part of the roof with the hanging pterodactyl because it just wouldn’t stay together. The details are really cute, but glue is recommended for some elements. We had a structural piece that was deformed with no extras in the set, and when we tried to email customer service, the email bounced back. We’ve found this brand overall to be hit or miss.

Very pretty
This is probably one of the prettiest builds I have done so far. The pieces all come in labeled bags which makes it very easy to do. The only part I struggled a little with was when I was building the glass top since it was very fragile until you finished.

I am a huge fan of brick-building sets and have been collecting and putting together LEGO for years. I have collected hundreds of sets.Normally I am not a fan of off-brand brick sets but when I saw this set I was very impressed with the price and the dinosaur museum theme.This set is a mini set meaning that the bricks are smaller than your typical set and they even come right out in the title and state that the set is not compatible with LEGO. I wanted to buy this set to assemble and display since I am a huge fan of dinosaurs as well.The Dinosaur Museum building kit arrived very well packaged in a very giftable box.The pieces are packaged in smaller bags with clear numbers on them.The pieces are very well made and yes, they are smaller than LEGO. The pieces snap together easily and hold together very well. There are a lot of very unique pieces included. The colors of the pieces are very nice and these look like a very high-end set.There are 2788 pieces which makes this a large build requiring patience.There are also lights included in this set which is a nice touch.The most important thing for me is how good the assembly manual is. This kit comes with a very good, colored assembly book that is very well done. It is much like the assembly books we are familiar with. The steps are numbered nicely with hundreds of well-done pictures. The steps refer back to the numbers on the bags of pieces making it easy to put things together properly.Normally with name-brand sets, you are paying about 10 cents a piece for the larger sets. This set contains 2788 pieces plus lights and is less than $100. It’s an amazing value for the money.Once assembled the museum looks great with some clear exterior walls allowing you to look into the museum. It really makes a nice display piece.I really do like the smaller pieces since they do make for nice detail.I do recommend this set to anyone who likes to assemble brick kits even if you are like me and usually doing LEGO sets. You will not be disappointed.

I received a set of plastic building blocks that makes an impressive dinosaur museum. This set has 2788 multicoloured blocks of various sizes and shapes, with many of the pieces being of smaller sizes. The pieces in this set are “non-standard”, meaning that you would find that the blocks may not be compatible with other building block sets you own, but this does not affect the assembly of this particular set. This set has many pieces, and it was nice to find that they were neatly divided up into small plastic bags. The bags have numbers 1 to 11, and each of these 11 numbers have between 2 to 4 bags associated with it. Pay particular attention to numbers 6 and 9, as it might be easy to get these two numbers confused when sorting the bags. The numbers refer to sections in the instruction manual, and you only need to open specific numbered bags while completing that section of the assembly instructions. There are some small battery operated lights in this kit, which makes it more interesting and fun to assemble. There is also a set of stickers that are used to decorate some of the blocks. The instruction manual is in full colour and it proceeds through the assembly of the museum in a step wise fashion, simplifying the assembly. The blocks seem well made, fit together well, and the completed kit could be displayed in your home. Overall, a very nice set of building blocks that should keep you busy for many days.

This building set started out promising and ended up disappointing. Luckily it was salvageable, but it’s definitely a shame when a user has to deviate from the book.First off, the book. It was okay, but it was not intuitive for me at least. Reading top to bottom, instead of left to right, had me missing steps constantly. I had to go back a lot to see what I missed and where, and try and fix things. It was honestly quite annoying.Secondly, the roof. The final part of this build is the absolute WORST. It has no support, and you’re supposed to put it all together and then put it on top of the rest of the build. Sounds straightforward, sure, but it’s not. It’s flimsy, and when you push one thing into place, another pops out. You need to brace it in 3 places for one piece, which is difficult with only 2 hands. Then, once you have your delicate roof put together, you have to put it on top. Except it’s half a brick too wide to go on the provided studs, and when you get it on one set of studs, it knocks off the decor on the top of the middle roof.I fixed that by getting lucky and having 2 1×2 bricks with 1 stud, which I put down in place of 2 of the 2×2 bricks with 1 stud, and found enough smooth bricks to fill in the remaining spots and replace the other 2 2×2 bricks with 1 stud. Now it actually sits right, but it’s not easy to remove without the build falling apart, despite what was advertised.Honestly, after having so much fun with this, the ending was so disappointing, and could have EASILY been solved by the manufacturer. The ONLY reason this is 3 stars instead of 1 is because this was fun until the end, and once I fixed it, it thankfully works.Get this at your own risk, and the risk of your patience.

On the downside – the pieces are quite small and they don’t connect or hold together as well as those broker made my the big brand. Still, for older kids or adults, it’d a challenging build and in many ways more interesting.
