Better than cables for many reasons. 8 successful jumps on the first attempt each time.
Compact, worth the money, easy to use, light weight, safer than cables.I Bought the 3000A models for our family midsize passenger cars. Charged them and put them in the vehicles, but who hopes for a dead battery?!Within a month it happened. Pulled out this compact little brick, popped the hood, and attached the cables. Perfect! Started my car. When it was time to return from my destination it succeeded on the first attempt. After two jumps, it still shows 91% charge. Cool thing is you can charge it from your vehicle’s USB port while you drive. I have an appointment with BMW to replace the battery, but I am not sweating it. I keep driving with a dead battery because it is so easy to jump. It takes 1-2 minutes. I’ve driven four times, requiring a jump on each end of the trip (8 jumps). It has worked every time on the first attempt.IT WOULD BE SUPER COOL IF IT WERE ALSO A TRICKLE CHARGER!! No complaint though. I bought it to jump a dead battery and it performs like a champ. I imagine there is logic in the circuitry that prevents a cross connection, so when you start from this device, there is a delay of about one second (or less) then the engine turns.Pros over cables:Two connections versus four (most trouble jumping is due to bad cable connections)No danger cross connecting (I witnessed a battery explode in someone’s face years ago)No issue getting a second vehicle in proper position to jump the dead car (like the shoulder of a freeway)No issue FINDING (or waiting for) a second vehicle for helpTakes less space – more compactCons:It must be charged to work (I’ve jumped 8 times with 100% success, but the device was always charged at least 80% – I do not know at what % it fails).

Way too good for the price!
After using this jumper hundreds of times, I can confidently say it will jump-start nearly any car with ease. As long as the battery has at least 5% charge, it can start most vehicles. I also occasionally use the built-in light, which is powerful and useful. With a large power bank and excellent performance, this jumper is far better than expected for the listed price.

Works great & small carrying case!
We were on a trip and all our tires were low due to a weather change, we used this and it aired all four tires up and was very easy to use. Set it on the pressure you want and it aired up to that pressure. Great product! Small storage.

Junk. Would not start a dead battery on Ford F150. Not even a click.
I bought htis as a backup for my F150 truck. When I leave town on a two week trip the battery goes dead, probably due to all of the electronics on the ttruck that draw power. Even your radio draws a small amount of power for its channel selection memory. I tried to start the truck after two weeks and there was absolutely no help from the power pack although it read 98% charged.This was bought 9 months ago and this is the first time I needed to use it. No love. Time to give it to Goodwill and let someone else use it to charge their phones. Junk!!!!!

Starts a car with dead battery
This amazingly small unit will start a car with a dead battery right up. My old Die Hard battery starter was probably 5 times bigger and 10 times heavier. I have used it a number of times without having to recharge it. Amazing unit!

Works as expected
Bought for a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who travels for work. He’s already used it multiple times and it has done exactly what it says it will. Jumped off with no issues and very easy to charge. Would highly recommend everyone have one!
