This worked accurately for me. A nice thing about it is that if you have a family member or patient with a larger arm, this expands to fit a 16 inch circumference. The enclosed directions are very clear to explain how to use the memory/user button to record information for different users. You will need to set up the calendar and time at first by using the user and memory button in combination. The instructions explain this very clearly. I was fooling around with it and testing out different things — taking my blood pressure over my shirt versus on my bare arm, etc.. At one point I couldn’t get all the air to come out of the arm band after stopping, so I pushed on it to expel all the air. I suspect it was just user error more than anything, but it is worth mentioning. Having the air in there before it starts expanding seems to affect the reading, so you have to make sure that it has been cleared out before you start.

I grabbed this to monitor our blood pressure at home, and overall I’m happy with it. It is easy to use and can run off USB C or AAA batteries. I’d personally suggest keeping batteries in it even if you intend on primarily running from usb so the memory doesn’t clear. As far as I can tell it seems to be accurate, as it matches the range I’m used to seeing from check ups. It works as it should, nothing odd or strange to report in that regard.Overall, I’m happy with it, I just wish it had an internal battery built in for memory purposes, even if not for the use of running the unit on it.
