Great for daily BP monitoring
I needed to purchase a new BP monitor that I could use daily to check my BP as my doctor adjusts my medication. I have been suffering from low BP while taking high blood pressure medication – so making these adjustments and having an accurate reading for my BP is critical right now.My only complaint about this product is that it uses two AA batteries and doesn’t offer an option to recharge like my older unit which has a lithium battery. Buyer’s beware
Does not set time and date does not follow prompts and does not give accurate readings. Not returning it throwing it in the garbage along with the previous one that I bought. Starting not to trust Amazon for medical devices and the packaging! No wonder it doesn’t work. It came in a flimsy plastic bag and the last device for blood pressure I bought it came in a box with nothing to keep the item from being tossed in and around the box and what it doesn’t work either. Don’t want my money back don’t care for the hassle. I’ll just have to go to and buy it from medical supply store.

Great product, accurate results
My doctor recommended for me to start taking my blood pressure at home, that way I would be able to keep an eye out and maintain a healthy blood pressure. However, I wanted to make sure I was spending my money wisely on a blood pressure monitor that was actually accurate and comparable to the one my doctor uses. He suggested a few reputable brands, Beurer and Omron. When going through reviews I decided to go with the Beurer BPM as it seemed to be a reliable brand for BPMs as well as other household items. Shortly after I ordered the item I received it in the mail. Its design is compact, portable, and it even came with a storage case for when I’m on the go and traveling. Needless to say it was beyond accurate and ridiculously easy to use. I was concerned I wouldn’t understand how to use it or interpret the results, but the product actually made it so easy as it classifies measurements using a color chart. Not only that, but it actually has capability to store my results (up to 60) to keep record of past results – which I really, really liked. I’m thoroughly impressed with this product and the technology and dependability. I would definitely purchase this item again!

Good Substitute If You Can’t Use an Upper Arm Cuff
I purchased this unit because I tore my bicep and upper arm cuffs no longer give valid readings. My arms are also larger than most economically priced upper arm monitors can handle. My wrist is also pretty big around, so this unit’s extended size was the perfect choice and it was well priced.I should point out that I am left handed, so I first tried using this on my right wrist because that is easier to manipulate for a lefty. I can’t find it printed in the manual anywhere, but ONLY use this on your LEFT wrist. I could not get anything remotely like a valid reading on my right wrist, but on my left wrist (which takes some acrobatics being left handed) the values come out pretty consistent. I’m guessing this has to do with the sensor positioning. I also had to fiddle with the strap because they seemed to have put the velcro in the wrong place.The unit has an “OK” sign so you’ll know you have the unit tilted at the correct angle for taking a reading. This is not an LED, just a visual effect with lines so that you see OK when it is the correct way. There is no backlighting on the screen.Getting the unit tight enough, but not too tight for me worked out to just being able to slip my small fingertip in without the unit jostling. I discovered that the best results are to put the unit on, then wait 5 minutes before activating, at least for me. The unit only take about a minute to take a reading and my wrist feels compressed, but nothing like the pain of upper arm units.Overall, I am pleased with the ease of use and speed of the unit; but I believe Beurer should really make it clear that it is to be used on the LEFT wrist only if you want anything remotely accurate.

I am a senior and I purchased this blood pressure monitor to replace an older monitor. I am TOTALLY pleased with my Beurer monitor. I perfectly fit my large wrist and it took my blood pressure very quickly and very accurately. It can monitor and keep track of 2 people. I LOVE that it indicates what stage my blood pressure is at… i.e. Normal, Hypertension, HIGH Hypertension. Additionally, I appreciate the case included. Will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this to ALL my senior friends and to everyone who wants to track their health. TRUELY everyone should have this in their home.
