Hopefully this review will help somebody.I’m rating this brush 10/10. Did it initially pull out clumps of over-processed fragile hair? Yes.The brush, combined with the right products, saved my hair’s life. This is not a paid advertisement.I started out ONLY brushing wet conditioned hair, to minimize damage.Before washing my hair I deep condition with OLAPLEX No.5 and used this brush to detangle- its hair magic.Then shampoo with OLAPLEX No.4 and a few drops of Tea Tree Oil then condition with CHI Ionic Color Lock Treatment.Following shower I apply CHI Silk Infusion & Garnier Sleek & Shine Leave In Conditioner. And brush with paddle brush.Currently, I’ve added JOJOBA OIL & Levander Essential Oil- after brushing, for hair growth and thickness (because processing damages the follicle).I take a prenatal vitamin and fish oil because they contain DHA (which is essential for cellular growth and functional development); I also take Biotin supplements because egg white can cause Biotin deficiency.. which is essential for healthy strong hair growth).The best “idea” I had was to cut 2 inches off of my hair (the burnt ends).. my hair stopped matting and the brush worked better.I wash my hair infrequently while it’s healing.I air dry my hair at night and brush with a paddle brush in the morning while, now, strengthening my hair.. which prevents my hair from damage due to tangles/matting. Seems like a long process but it’s actually very low maintenance.Consistent application, combined with a layered trim, has worked miracles. The trim honestly made the most difference.The brush now pulls out very little hair and my scary help I may go bald from frying my hair beyond recognition or repair hair is now strong; and no longer matting with the a trim and the occasional flat iron.I’ll always be prone to tangles, because my hair is curly, and this brush glides through them with ease and conditioner! 😊

I needed a detangling hairbrush and was in a pickle to repair my old one for my unruly hair. But i wanted one that would actually help me and not cause me so much pain. So i bought three: this one, the Ninabella Organic Detangling Hair Brush, and the FHI Heat UNbrush Detangling Brush. (Ive also had several Wet brushes in the past, they’re ok)This one did work to untangle my hair, but its not as good as the FHI Heat UnBrush. I thought this one would be the best since its the closest to what i used to hair with the way the brush separates the bristles. But this one feels like it could break easily, whether is be the bristles or a whole section, it just doesnt feel very sturdy. It’s not broken and it’s not an issue with how the bristles are since it’s similar to my old brushes and im used to that; but it’s just a peace of mind id like to have to know this would last me years like my last one. I’m not a fan of having a tiny piece to keeo track of either when I want the bristles to fan out more, it’s popped out several times and I’m pretty sure I’ll eventually lose it. The bristles are also just shorter than I’d like, i prefer to feel the bristles on my scalp to stimulate it and feel that all the tangles are gone.Overall, it does work and I’ll still use it as a backup. Its just not as good as the Unbrush and would have liked to see an honest review comparing it to another brush when I was researching.I left a more detailed review about the Unbrush too if you happen to look into it

Definitely helped my 4c hair. My hair is THICK and natural and I love it! This brush made wash day go so much smoother. It glided through my hair as I conditioned it, all the way to my African roots! The ancestors clapped y’all!I’m not saying it worked parting the Red Sea level miracles, but detangling was finished in less than half the time with less than half the effort. There was FAR less hair in the brush than I would normally lose too! I was able to smoothly brush my hair back easily, when all was said and done and my ends had nice spirals as I rinsed. Minor miracles indeed! Perhaps I can part a puddle with it…Cleaning it was a breeze. I simply held it with one hand and placed the bristles down on the open palm of my other hand. I let the shower run through the back of the brush and caught the hair in my hand. Conditioner rinsed away easily and I use the thick stuff!I made the mistake of insisting my teen try it out on their coils and curls during their shower (3c and 4a) and they gave it rave reviews. Getting them to wrestle through their curls and fully detangle is always a point of contention. Since I let them “borrow” it, there is hope for a lower water bill because detangling took so much less time. (Is that the miracle I am searching for?) Not only do they love the ease of use … they’ve claimed it as their own! I am back today to buy myself another one!

Will pull your hair out.
I used this brush to help detangle my hair after it was washed and conditioned. I even used special detangler products. The brush did not help detangle my hair and a lot of my hair came out. I would not recommend for black natural hair.

My 4yr old daughter’s hair is down to her bottom and it gets so intangled with knots that sometimes it looks to be only half the length it really is. Sometimes it would take me 1.5hrs to brush her hair. BUT WITH THIS BRUSH I have it down to 30mins! The only suggestion I have is the instructions say to brush from the top down, don’t do that. Start from the bottom and work your way up. The Bristles on the brush separate. Helping to reduce broken strands of hair. I absolutely love this brush and I bought two of them. It even comes with a guard if you want to lock all the bristles in place. Not only does this brush help with tangled hair, but it is also very easy to clean.Update: I’ve been using this brush for a couple of months now! Absolutely still love it! I can’t believe how well it works! I can’t get enough of this brush! 😍

Die beste Haarbürste für lockige Haare. Die Bürste kommt super durch die Locken durch ohne die Haare auszureißen. Wir sind begeistert. Leider ist der Griff sehr unergonomisch, für Menschen mit Arthrose oder ähnlichen Erkrankungen der Hände ist die Bürste etwas schwierig zu halten. Sonnst super. 👍🏻
