High Quality Clone Bricks
I love to build cities of brick. As you might expect, the process requires thousands of bricks. That being said, had I stuck with Lego, there was no way I could afford it. I am on a limited income and spent much time looking at clone bricks – those Chinese-made of which there are many brands. My number one choice for this is the Barcaloo 1000 Piece Play Set. To date, I have purchased six bags. They are solidly built and come in the Lego Classic Colors. So you need more bricks? Of course, you do. Barcaloo gives you a good variety of both 1X and 2X bricks and because they are not exorbitantly priced and readily available through Amazon, getting the bricks you need for your next project is fast and easy. I highly recommend this product and have passed it along verbally to my brick-building friends. Happy building!

Great value, compatible with Legos
I bought this set for use in a child care setting with approximately 40 kids. I originally bought a box of 484 Legos, but found that with the large number of kids that wanted to play with them, I needed to get more. The box of Legos I bought were $27.99, and I estimated I’d need at least two more boxes to have enough to keep all the kids happy. I did not want to spend $56 dollars on approximately 1000 Legos, so I had the idea to look up generic bricks instead. I’m glad I did, because this bricks set was less than half the price of an equivalent number of name brand Legos.The bricks arrived in a bag, which worked well because I already had a big box to store the bricks in. The bricks fit tightly both to each other, and with name-brand Lego bricks. I was impressed with the quality and value of these bricks, and I will likely be purchasing more in the future. I see no discernible difference between these bricks and the name brand.

I am satisfied, the kids love them
I wanted to supplement my kids building time with some blocks that were a bit less of a specific model. I certainly have plenty of specific models which help them remember how to rebuild a specific shape. But, these are great for a bit more imagination, vibrant basic colors, tons of different sizes, thick and thin, and work well with the other brand I bought for the wheels. Now my kids are building jets and cars and I even made a track for racing on. Overall a great experience. My kids love them. So, every Saturday we have some building time.Perfect price, seem durable and work great.

Tight fit, good variety, wouldn’t know they weren’t brand name
I’m a teacher who’s been using Legos in the classroom for 15 years and really wanted something budget-friendly that was compatible with my existing Legos for class projects. The first thing I did was make sure they were compatible with my existing Legos, fit tightly, and felt right and they passed the test. Then I sorted them into groups to determine how many of each size there were. The photos show shoebox-sized totes from Target, and I sorted them, left to right, as big bricks (2×6, 2×8), then bricks (2×2, 2×3, 2×4, and 2×2 slanted roof bricks), the third tote is sticks that are 1×1 to 1×8, and finally flat plates that were all 2×10. The second photo shows the view of the two middle boxes from the side to show they’re each about halfway full. Overall, this is a good deal. You do end up getting a lot of small pieces that aren’t as useful to me for our big building projects like when 20 students are building bridges or towers all at the same time, but they’ll be great for creative projects. I also buy Legos off bricklink.com and, as a comparison, decided to buy three more bags of this kind to stretch the budget a little.

Good Lego compatible bricks, with a good selection of basic bricks
I highly recommend this set to anyone looking to bulk up on basic bricks for their larger builds. It has a really good selection of colors for the all the basic 1X and 2X bricks, as well as a few other highly desirable pieces like roof pieces and 2×12 plates. Other sets seem to suffer from the 1X1X1 and 1X1X2 curse where they pad out the numbers with small bricks, but this one has a ton of the larger ones in it. The quality of the bricks is above average for lego compatibles, the colors are nice and consistent, and the clutch is solid.

These are fantastic! We got these to go with a new lego table for my son’s fifth birthday. They fit tightly with both regular and generic baseplates. I ordered this set because it also had roof pieces and bought another brand (Anksono) because it had tires, windows and doors. I put them side by side and the difference is amazing! They both have 1000 pieces. The larger pile is the Barcaloo, which has a ton of larger bricks. The other had mostly tiny bricks and nothing bigger than 2×4 size. We were past the return window by the time we opened them; otherwise I probably would have returned them. Barcaloo was a couple of bucks more, but definitely worth it.Also, if you are shopping for cheap baseplates, we got the Brickyard ones and they fit perfectly.
