Excellent Greens Product and Good Value
After my favorite greens product became unsustainably expensive, I went on the hunt for new super greens powder to add to my morning power shake. After trying at least a half-dozen organic greens from various brands, this Garden of LIfe Sport Version is the clear winner.Firstly – it doesn’t taste like you’ve emptied your lawnmower bag into your drink. No bitter green flavor and tastes pleasant.Secondly – a great mix of organic greens, superfoods, vitamins, probiotics, and more. I would only ever ingest an all-organic mix of these foods, as given boosting my health as a primary goal, I want to avoid the pesticide and herbicide residues found in conventially-grown foods.Thirdly – Garden of LIfe is a long-established brand that I trust. From it’s inception, Garden of Life has offered the highest quality, organic superfood products and supplements, and been an industry leader in this regard.For the quality, great combination of organic ingredients, this is a solid value for the 30 servings per canister as a daily health and energy booster. 5-STARS.

It taste horrible but is a good source of vitamins.
My wife and I were looking for a greens powder to put into our shakes after the gym. A lot of the ones that we tried do not taste good. That being said, this product does not taste good either.It tastes ok initially then it has that fake sugar after taste that is not very pleasant.If you are not picky about the taste, it is a good source of greens to quickly put into your shakes.

Pretty good…though not as dissolvable as you might like!
I tried this initially over a three-day period. Usually new supplements of any sort can through my gut off a little bit, so I went at Garden of Life’s Superfoods Powder cautiously. The good news is that it didn’t have any adverse effects on the old tummy.Superfoods powders like this are, I feel, in the same ballpark as multivitamins. Reportedly they’re good for you, and not being a scientist or doctor, I have no way of telling if they’re actually working or not. My initial bottom line review is that this powder isn’t so bad, and perhaps it’s good for me (and you), but it’s hard to quantify just yet.You only need to mix one scoop (scoop included, thank you GoL) into water, or add to a smoothie of some sort. I haven’t gone the smoothie route yet, or added it to whey protein, and I’m suspecting that’s the more palatable option. The powder isn’t wholly powder, like if you were taking C4 as a workout supplement – it’s a little on the grassy side and takes a fair deal of work to get it to not clump in a glass. Granted, I used a spoon, which I thought would work.The taste isn’t awful. I’ve been drinking the Apple Berry flavor, which is like tasting vegetables that have the slightest hint of apples and berries. I imagine the upside here is that you’re not drinking something that tastes like candy, which would lead me to believe it’s not full of sweeteners and such. So, points there.As it doesn’t dissolve like you’d expect, you may find yourself drinking a big glass of this and getting the occasional glob of powder. Bearable if you’ve drank whey protein before; probably not desirable if this is your first venture into supplements of this sort. This is why I suspect you might be better off adding it to a smoothie or something you can crank through a blender that will do a better job of masking the texture.So is it worthwhile? I’ll keep using it; it’s been an accompaniment to my morning coffee and it’s a good start to the day.

I am impressed
I am a supplement nut, and even so, most green drink powders sit unused in my pantry for years because I can’t find a way to ingest them. This one is actually delicious, and it dissolves immediately in water. I tried it in water so I could properly review it rather than putting it in a smoothie, and to be honest, it is so tasty and easy to drink I will just mix it in water most of the time. It makes for a light, refreshing beverage. I am super surprised. I can’t speak to the improved energy, as I just opened it, but the ingredients are solid. The only thing I am a tad skeptical about is in the “other ingredients” they use apple berry flavor (what is that?) with other organic and natural flavors. “Natural flavors” and “apple berry flavor” leave much leeway as to what they have used.Now, for the company. I care about what companies I support, and also am careful about using supplements from different brand names. I wanted to try this (and as a Vine member it was offered to me to review).Be aware that Garden of Life was bought by Nestle back in 2017. This could be important information for some people. I’m not taking a star because it is what it is, and as for flavor and ingredients it looks to be top notch.
