I’m mystified by the unhappy reviews. The measurements are clear. An XL is 27 inches long.This material is something I’ve never come across before and it is *brilliant*. It’s not Velcro. It doesn’t have tabs or closures. Yet it sticks to itself in a way that no cat could ever wrangle out of – and I know cats.Don’t hesitate to buy this BUT: make sure you understand the measurements. I suggest sizing up.

THIS WORKS SO WELL! I have several cats that are, shall we say, fundamentally against getting their ears cleaned. Wrapped them up in this and the cozy calmness they felt was palpable!! A couple even purred while “being doctored”. I highly recommend!ONE CAVEAT: I bought an XL knowing I needed to use it for my 18.5lb chonkus of a cat. It worked, but his back end was woefully uncovered. All other cats (8lb-14lb) this cuddled them up firmly and completely. I have no idea why you’d buy a smaller one unless you have kittens to wrap, or a 5lb chihuahua. Despite this small flaw, I still give it 5/5!

This was amazing for restraining two cats to squirt bitter medicine into their mouths. The large size works for a small cat, if you have a full-grown cat you need XL. We found it to be a two-man job to wrap the cat, but once done way superior to a small blanket or a towel.

I ordered the “large” size and got this tiny square of fabric that has no “holding” power at all and does not stay secure. What a waste of money! Use a towel instead.
