Worth it
This is a very fun game, if you are considering it you will not be disappointed. You have an end goal of killing a dragon vs everyone else and there is direct pvp. You are gathering followers, items, and fighting monsters and you’re fellow players. The game came in perfect condition and the miniatures are of good quality.

A Fantastic Family Game!
We played Avalon Hill Talisman: The Magical Quest Board Game over Christmas with our teenagers, and it was a total hit! The game is full of adventure, strategy, and lots of laughs. Everyone enjoyed the unique characters, magical items, and the unpredictability of the quest. It’s easy to pick up, but there’s enough depth to keep it interesting for both teens and adults. We spent hours playing and had a blast with the twists and turns along the way. It’s a great way to spend quality time together—highly recommend it for any family looking for a fun and engaging game night!

The Classic Returns, All Anew!
This is the Classic Talisman game of yore that everyone loves! There are some changes in the edition, like only being a Toad for 1 round instead of 3, but that could be for the better. Getting toaded was the worst part of the game. We used to play this game all summer in my teen years, spending 3-4 days on a single game. Too bad we can’t be like that anymore.The game has changed, for the better! Having just played a few games, there are some really neat changes regarding Toads, many spells are now different, and there’s a new space on the opposite side of the Sentinel called the Cavern that transports you to different areas of the board. Now, the Crown of Command is protected by a Strength 10/Craft 10 Dragon you must fight before you get it.The minis are now very detailed and large, fitting into their own spaces in the box. There’s new art for everything, and the artwork is gorgeous! They really upped their game (pun intended) on this release. A lot of thought and effort went into making this a great game like its earlier versions.To make it simpler, this game is like D&D, and Monopoly had a kid. Amazon did me a solid and delivered this weeks before anyone else gets their paws on it.I recommend this game for teens and above. It makes a great gift for Boardgame collectors!

Phenomenal quality
Game is fun and the box came in perfect condition. Fun thing is that token holder that you discard is a bit bent even though the box is not damaged and tokens are undamaged as well; which probably means that the quality control assured that the goods are in perfect condition. I would recomend buying this game, and from this company.

A Favorite at my Game Nights
My friends and I have played nearly 50 games of Talisman over the past 18 months, so was very excited when this new edition was announced. Now that it’s in my hands, I’m thrilled. The new artwork and detailed miniatures are beautiful, and the slight rule changes make it a more accessible game for new players and non gamers as well as speed up the game significantly. I’m looking forward to the release of more expansions to this edition.

The product was delivered to Poland by 21.12.2024. It was sent 18.12.2024, so the delivery was really quick. This version of the game is a bit different from the previous one. You can already see that there is gender-swapping and race-swapping present. Some graphics seem to AI generated and the font on the cards could be different. However, the font on the board is more legible, which is a big plus.

I never played Talisman before coming to it fresh now in its 5th Edition. Better late than never.The 5th Edition base game is a lot of fun and the box contains a good horde of resources that allow you to craft your own campaigns as well as play the basic game.The rules, fully explained in a large, full-colour very clear and easy to follow guide, are simple enough to make Talisman a fun, basic board game, but complex enough to allow for a lot more depth for players who want it.The whole game is readily open to customization, with enough options to make it the basis for a real, character-based RPG, the base rules amenable to being simplified or made more complex to suit differing tastes.The contents of the box are high quality, well-packaged and presented.The twelve playable character models are well-detailed 32mm scale gaming figures made of sturdy grey plastic (and they can be used in any 32mm scale fantasy table-top game).Though you don’t need to paint them, the figures can look really excellent when painted. (I use Vallejo surface primer, a mixture of Vallejo and Reaper acrylics and Vallejo varnish, but any decent acrylics will do the job).The 5th Edition “Talisman Alliances: Fate Beckons” expansion box adds a lot of extra resources that give this game even more repeat playability and allows for much greater scope when it comes to crafting your own further adventures…Highly recommended for anyone who likes fantasy and table-top games.

5e has made some changes but the gane is the same classic as the 2e I had back in the 90s. The board is smaller and the a er work has changed. The minis are high quality and the one expansion allows for coop play. Thumbs 👍
