Have used this this item for a couple of years and ordered three more times as a gift. Every time I’m in the car with a friend who is looking down at their phone for navigation, I give them one of these for safety! Inexpensive and effective.Update: 2025, January 2This is such a simple and inexpensive gift. I carry one with me whenever I leave the house. If I travel by car with someone, and the driver doesn’t have one, I will give them one. If I am out and about, I can use it to suction my phone to a mirror or window to take a picture, and if someone notices, I might gift it to them if they don’t already own one. Besides, you can always use another one to use in the kitchen when you want to watch a YouTube video, or in the garage when you are trying to fix something. Or to hold your phone while you FaceTime with a friend!

I loved it at first!
This item was very easy to install. Simple instructions, easy to put into the car. I used it to hold my phone as I use my phone and car for daily work.The arm moves side to side, up and down. It also extends outwards. The arms that actually hold your device are adjustable using the button(s) on the back. They expand by pressing the button and then you place your phone and push them in around the phone. They have padding to hold it snug. The bottom has a space to access the charging port. I have been able to slid my phone in and out of the top without readjusting the arm and no issue with it becoming loose. I would use this for at least 4 hours each day, removing my phone 20-30 time in that 4 hour window.I never had an issue with my phone falling out nor have I had an issue with the mechanisms failing/ moving out of place. I did, however, have an issue around 4 months after installing it where the sticky part of the mounting plate malfunctioned and it will not restick. I ended up removing the suction from the mounting plate and sticking that suction cup part directly to the dash in order to continue using it. I’m now worried about it leaving a sticky residue as the “suction cup” also has adhesive on it. (That’s how it is set up in the photos I’ve added to this review.)I’m disappointed in the adhesive of this product. Idk if it was the freezing cold or just wear and tear but it didn’t last. I wish I would have found something that wasn’t adhesive.I enjoy to product but wish it were better or came with extra adhesive at least…*Now that I’ve had this over this summer, I want to add… there have been a couple of days where I come out to my car and the whole setup is laying on the floor because the adhesive got so hot and released. I was luckily able to stick it right back on and it stay, buts it’s happened a few times now.*

Nice but could be better
Overall I am happy with my purchase. I bought another cheap cell phone holder but wasn’t happy with it and I saw this. Now for the pros and consCons:1. When I first got it I liked that I could suction cup the base to my side table and had the ability to LIFT the table off the ground and not have it break the suction. I was IMPRESSED!! Came back a hour or less later and my phone and stand fell over. Thought it was odd so I suctioned it back down to my smooth table and gave it a tug once again and it lifted the table. I removed the suction and reapplied it again to make sure me pulling it didn’t affect it. Left for a few hours and came back to my phone and stand having fallen over again.That’s it. That’s about the only con I have with the unit.Pros:1 The flat”sticker” mat has plenty of stick and solved my number one con above.2. The jaws have plenty of width and DEPTH to hold most if not all phones. It easily holds my phone WITH a cover on it. My older unit I was using hardly fit depth wise due to my case being on the phone.3. Adjustable arm length is nice. If I am reclined in my chair I can pull my phone towards me a bit to see the screen a little better.4. Everything is slightly tightened enough to not move on its own but will under some force. It has plenty of adjust ability all around fine tune your phone how you want it.Overall I am really enjoying this phone mount/stand. I almost feel like I’m a fighter pilot sometimes when checking my phone, as silly as it sounds. I do not see myself using this item in a vehicle but so far it’s working great in my home!!!

It does what is supposed to do. I dislike attaching the suction cup to the windshield so a separate adhesive disc is important to me. The adhesive disc and the product works well. If the adhesive to the disc fail in the future, there is room on the disc’s perimeter to use small screws into my old 2009 lexus dash if necessary. There is also an opening at the bottom of this product for a charging cable. revision 1: the disc adhesive failed so I secured to the dash with two small screws which is ok for my 2009 Lexus Rx350 which is a 14 year old SUV.

This is my second one after the first one lasted about a year and a half. I’m a tradesman and I am taking the phone in and out of the holder all day. It’s holds up well and the suction cup holds great even in high heat and cold. Would definitely recommend for the price

Mounting “Plan A” Did Not Work
I tried mounting the holder using the flat disc provided for that purpose but it did not stick, and my phone crashed to the floor. We were traveling with one of my granddaughters for a belated birthday so I was not able to remount it until later in the day.I removed the flat disc and mounted it was only the suction cup on the base. It made through the afternoon without incident… remaining stable, staying in place, and needing no adjustments.That’s my initial report. Perhaps I will follow-up this preliminary report with some more stability or long-term performance findings. We will see.As far as the packaging, delivery, and pricing, I have am neutral… no accolades or complaints.
