Great watch expecially for allergies
My son was experiencing a rash from the metal back of his watch contacting his skin all the time. We discovered it was fairly common for some people to have these issues. We got him the amitron watch because of the cloth that is between the wrist and the back of the watch and it worked perfectly for him. No more rash or pain. The watch worked great and is nice looking. This is a replacement to the first watch we got him, it lasted over 2 years of him wearing it everyday, before the cloth broke that attaches the watch face to the wrist strap. But well worth the money and lasting for a 12 year old who wears it all the time.

I have previously ordered, and returned, a number of “sport” watches that I didn’t like for various reasons. Mostly it was that the trend in men’s watches these days is making them big, so it looks like you have an alarm clock on your wrist. Not my style.This one, in spite of being on the larger side, doesn’t look/feel that way to me, partly because the watch body is up off your wrist with a nicely designed wrist band holding it up. Only like 1/8 of an inch or so, but to me it made all the difference.Pros/cons.It apparently has lots of functions, but I probably won’t use most of them. If you like a watch that can tell the time in Mombasa, Kenya and Tyler, TX at the same time, you’re in luck. Also has an alarm function, which I might use, and a stopwatch function, which I probably won’t.Negatives:One of my pet peeves is instruction manuals with a type font so small I need a magnifying glass to read them. Which is a concern for me since the watch has so many functions and 4 different buttons around the body, which, pressed in different orders and based on which mode (date/time, alarm, etc.) you’re in, do different things, some of which I definitely don’t want.Overall I like the watch and it will likely become my everyday go-to. Once I figure out how to set the current time.
