As described. White sand. Very fine. Feels like soft sugar. I capped it with pea gravel in my 20 long. Looks great! (3 bags did about 1.5″ layer across the whole bottom I believe)

Perfect Sand, Amazing Price
First of all, amazing price! I decided after I filled my tank to get sand and chose this one mostly because of the good price. I just poured it in without washing and it didn’t make my water cloudy or anything. Super amazing! It’s an off white, the exact color I was looking for. Overall, just a good purchase and I plan on buying more in the future.

Exactly what I needed
I was looking for sand for my freshwater 55gal tank, this was good because I needed to replace what was lost over 8mo or so of maintenance. This bag refilled exactly what I lost. It’s beautiful color. Feels nice. Doesn’t change my water chemistry. My fish are happy and it cleans as well as my other sand.

Beautiful TAN sand
I had returned some gravel that I really liked because it was the same color ( tan) as my hardscape in my tank thereby making everything all the same color. After all the expense and time devoted to making a nice tank I want some contrast so I purchased this sand. The description said it was off white which was perfect. It arrived well packaged in a bag and it looked very white. I placed everything its place and it was perfect until adding water and finding out this is very tan ( think California beach) sand. My tank is now all one color! Very disappointed.

Love the color
The color of this sand is fantastic. It is a lovely bright white, allowing my dark axolotls to stand out more. The sand is not very dusty, either. I did not wash it because I’ve had this kind before, and the tiny dust there was cleared in a few hours.

My plants are thriving!
Really love the color of this substrate. I planted my water grass using 10 lbs of wet substrate (sand) and combined it with a 5lb bag of dry substrate(sand). Then I sprayed my seeds after very gently covering them with some sand.Spraying them with water very day and giving them light will help them grow. I also covered the tank in plastic wrap to properly germinate and give them the moisture they needed. Once I took off the plastic wrap (after two weeks) I noticed the seeds started burning under my light after two days so I quickly filled my tank with water and turned on my filter for a few days and the seeds grew bright green! This sand. Is perfect for new timers trying to build a nice tank. Quality is great and it stays in place! 15 lbs of sand for my 22 gallon tank works perfectly. The grains are very fine/small but don’t clog your tank.

He comparado esta arena en otra ocasión y con el liso proveedor y la calidad de la primera compra cumplía con todo lo ofertado, el producto es de grano fino y muh blanco, sin embargo decidí comprarle una segunda ocasión y la que me envió difiere mucho en color con respecto al primer envío ya que esta última es de color arena tirando a café por lo que no me sirvió para rellenar el o el del sustrato de mi tanque … muy decepcionado en esta ocasión, la voy a devolver
