A perfect fit for my Pacifica and feels of good quality
The packaging is sturdy and prevents a damaged product. Putting it together was very intuitive and the instructions were clear. My vehicle is a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and I prefer my suction cup mount to the side glass, above the dash. That prevents interference with the sun shade.The arm is very stiff! This makes getting it into position a pain, but it also makes for a sturdy mount in use. Take the time to position properly before removing the plastic backing to the sticky suction cup.I used the brace piece, which rests on the dash to further stabilize the arm for heavy phones.My only gripe is that the arm is oval shaped and not a round rod. The support piece only fits in one way on the arm. To make the piece work, I had to twist the arm so it would rotate enough that the support piece would snap on to the arm. As mentioned, the arm is stiff and it was not easy, but the end result worked very well.Time will tell if this lasts, but the rachet clamp is smooth and the release button works well. If the mechanicals last, then this is a winner!

Works great, an improvement over the previous phone holder design I’d used for years.
I had a favorite auto cell phone holder and bought several over the last decade. As they’d wear out mostly from hot in the summer and cold in the winter, I’d replace them with the exact same thing. Then they stopped making them.I switched to this model and knew I was taking a chance, but I find this design is much better and I’m delighted with it.The suction to the glass is excellent and I’ve had no issues with it.The design to let it rest a bit on the dashboard is probably going to wear on the dashboard material over time, but whatever. It helps the phone stay stead with no bouncing around so an easier to read screen and no noisy from the wobbling.I really like the top back button to release the left and right cradle. It’s simple, effective and easy to get a phone out of, then back in place. Much better design than the one I used to like so much.Highly recommended, will buy again!

iPhone holder
I just installed this a couple of days ago so I didn’t give it 5 stars until I give it enough time to make sure it works. So far it seems ok. Suction cup is holding fine. I have a couple of notes tho – the arm looks like its about 12” long in the ad however its only about 6-7” so hard to maneuver it in too many ways. Also beware if you have a pop socket on the back of your case it barely fits in the holder. Mine seems to hold it pretty snug so far. If the suction holds then I’ll consider it a real win. I have mine right under my rear view mirror so it’s close and safe to glance at (maps, etc) while driving.

I wanted a cell holder that would actually stay attached to my windshield and so far this product hasn’t disappointed me. It is made of high quality plastic. The attached swivel makes it convenient for GPS use and calls.

Wow! This phone Holder is great. I was skeptical from previous brands that didn’t last. The term that comes to mind for this holder is sturdy. The feel of the plastic and quality is just awesome! If you can imagine plastic feeling substantial, this is it. The directions/photo will appear a little intimidating at first, but read them carefully and you’ll be OK. The fact there is a stablizer was also surprising. I actually don’t need the stabilizer because its already so sturdy, but good to have as a back up. Also, follow the directions on putting the ball into the socket. Unscrew the then place the ball in the socket. The smooth rotation and precise positioning of your device in the holder, is effortless. Overall, awesome product! Thanks.

It does the job
My old smartphone mount broke. Decided to give this brand a try. I don’t know why there is adhesive on the suction cup. I did place the UV film on my windshield, so hopefully I can remove the suction cup if needed. The phone release button is on the back, which I find cumbersome to use (my old mount had the release button on the side).

This car holder made by APPS2Car is much better than a previous smartphone car holder that stuck to the windshield lasted only about 2 years. My old unit’s long arm broke from the suction cup as I was trying to tighten the smartphone holder to the long arm. The old unit was no longer available on Amazon, so I searched for a better unit, and by accident found this one on Amazon. Thought I’d try one before purchasing several more.Wow! The suction cup is thick and very strong (will last a long time in hot heat from the sun), and the base connected to the suction cup is very sturdy and strong, unlike my older unit that broke at the suction cup connection. The suction cup is covered in a special gel to prevent it from easy release from the glass due to cold-to-hot temperature changes to the windshield which would allow the suction cup to expand or contract, and thus fall off. This unit will not come off easy…which means you will need to know exactly where to position it first on your windshield before making contact with the windshield. Make sure the long arm is bent to your dash’s dimensions and height so the long arm’s rest pad sits evenly on the dash. Once you’ve positioned the ideal location of the phone holder and the rest pad on the arm, push it firmly against the clean windshield and it will remain there almost forever.I went back and purchased three more of these units before they ran out for my other vehicles. To the designers: Good job!

The mount works great, suction device is strong and cell phone holder is as well. The length of the arm is much shorter than appears in the image though. It may be 12 inches, if that. Other than that it works great so far.

Always didn’t like phone holders with a long arm, but this design actually works for my current car. Attach securely to the dash via the stick on pad and suction end then bends towards the end of the dash but steadies itself with the mid secure clip. Have been using for 2 months and is still very secure and steady. Would recommend.
