So, I am a fan of quarter zips for the winter and this one does not disappoint. As I stated in a previous review, I am pleasantly surprised with the style and quality of Amazon Essentials casual wear. I am about 5 11 and 185 lbs. with about a 41-inch chest and not big shoulders, but fairly large arms. I am in that in-between size between medium and large and find the perfect fit for me wearing this quarter zip is with an undershirt and a long sleeve underneath. Wearing it just with a t-shirt underneath it is a little loose for my taste. If you are closer to a 43 to 44 chest, I think it would be perfect with just a t-shirtThe style is a perfect casual look which could work for most occasions casual office, date night, everyday around town wear. The fit is not fitted but is not baggy somewhat in between. In the shoulders, body and arms it is still tight enough that it will highlight your physique a little bit, but not so tight it is restricting. The length is a little past your belt buckle but does not stick out past your coat. The sleeves and waist are hemmed which provide a more fitted look rather than just hanging loose on your wrists and waist. This little design technique takes it from just a sweatshirt to a little dressier option allowing for more occasions to wear it.The material is a midweight cotton that breathes pretty well especially when layering with a long sleeve shirt. in terms of warmth, I would say you would be comfortable with this piece by itself or with a light jacket on most days in the 40’s and above anything below that I would say you need a heavier coat. Thesweatshirt comes in many colors to much any outfit or occasion. I liked it so much I bought the burgundy color also. I am thinking about getting a couple more in other colors. The price was great $23.70 which is a steal compared to some of the brand names. Delivery was quick and the sweatshirt came unwrinkled and was ready to wear that day. I really hate when you buy clothes, and they arrive totally wrinkled. i strongly suggest this item and if you are not familiar with Amazon Essentials for casual, comfortable, and affordable clothes I recommend checking them out. You will be happily surprised.

Great Midweight Pullover for Fit and Price
Clothing shopping online can be so hit or miss, as different makers seem to size so drastically different. (Where are the size charts?)This Amazon Basic quarter zip ‘sweatshirt’ is a nice looking style and is a quality sewn pullover for wearing over a dress shirt for casual work situations if one is needing a bit of warmth but without too thick of layers.Yes it is fleece on the inside, but is more of a nice light- midweight fabric. ( Nothing like a Carhartt -type of fleece in thickness or the traditional college ‘sweatshirt’ heavy fabric)The outside of the fleece is more dressy and smooth than a ‘sweatshirt’ is… casual work setting appropriate.The size ( was a guess) was spot on in fit. (Laying the size XL garment flat, 25″ across the front from under the arm seam to opposite side… it tapers down to about 23.5″ at the bottom band…25.75″ from top of arm to sleeve bottom.) Not too bulky, and not form-fitting like a knit fabric would be, either.The fit is for a ‘normal’ guy’s body (Not the fitted/ athletic /slim kind of ‘second skin’ that shows every extra helping of food one has eaten) … hubby is over 60, about 190 pounds and it fits him great.Washes up and dries wonderfully so far, staying true to size. (Wash turned inside out to protect the 1/4 zipper)I would recommend and would purchase again if more colors were available in the size needed.

Ho imparato ad apprezzare i capi a marchio AMAZON ESSENTIALS ed ho già avuto modo di acquistare camicie in flanella a quadretti, come giacche in pile da uomo e da donna e quando ho notato le felpe ho deciso di provare anche queste, incuriosito dalle interessanti caratteristiche in descrittiva.Devo ammettere che essendomi ben abituato agli altri capi acquistati del Marchio di Amazon, le aspettative per le felpe erano piuttosto alte ma non sono state disattese.Ho ordinato 3 felpe nei colori GRIGIO MEDIO, NERO e per ultima la BLU MARINO, tra novembre ed inizio dicembre tramite il servizio PROVA PRIMA, PAGA POI ed in tutte le circostanze sono arrivate in una busta trasparente del marchio perfettamente piegate, nel mio caso protette da ulteriore confezione Amazon, ma potrebbero venire spedite anche senza ulteriore busta di carta.Non appena rimosso ogni capo ho potuto subito constatare una apprezzabile QUALITA’ complessiva della felpa tutto sommato discreta, pur sempre proporzionata alla caratteristica economica del prodotto.Considerando che siamo infatti difronte ad una FELPA di fascia economica e piuttosto sportiva, non mi è dispiaciuta la scelta del TESSUTO 56% cotone e 44% POLIESTERE, che ho apprezzato per la morbidezza che si percepisce sulla pelle, oltre ad uno spessore medio che consente una comoda vestibilità sia in una mezza stagione come anche d’inverno.Apprezzabile ho trovato anche il CONFEZIONAMENTO sufficientemente curato ed attento ai particolari, con la CHIUSURA a CERNIERA corta, il COLLETTO alto che può essere chiuso sotto il mento, il BORDO MANICA e VITA alto che conferiscono un certo carattere e personalità al capo.A proposito della CERNIERA LAMPO, si tratta di una marca nota come YKK e svolge egregiamente il suo compito, con innesti precisi e scorrimenti fluidi in apertura come in chiusura.Mi è piaciuta invece la tonalità del COLORE del TESSUTO che nei 3 capi da me acquistati sono i classici grigio chiaro, nero, blu marino, con un PESO medio ed una sufficiente morbidezza, che mi ha piacevolmente sorpreso per il CALORE che garantisce, perfetto per la stagione autunnale ma anche per un inverno con sotto una camicia in flanella od una maglietta a maniche lunghe.Considerando inoltre la economicità di questa felpa, trovo comunque gradevole il suo confezionamento, senza evidenti difetti e con quel colletto alto chiudibile con la cerniera lampo fin sotto il mento, per una linea complessiva piacevole che non la rendono anonima.Il TAGLIO è ovviamente sportivo ed indovinando la propria TAGLIA corretta, la VESTIBILITA’ risulta comunque discreta.Neppure le MANICHE le ho trovate abbondanti in lunghezza come a volte accade ed avendo seguito le indicazioni in descrittiva ho scelto correttamente la M.Si tratta di una MISURA che per me che normalmente indosso giacche taglia 48 è risultata corretta, senza abbondanza ma una apprezzabile comodità, che mi permette di vestire la felpa con sotto anche una camicia magari in flanella durante l’inverno, una polo o comunque un ulteriore capo come una maglietta a maniche lunghe.Nel caso poi si desideri accorciare di poco la lunghezza della manica, non mi dispiace comunque poter risvoltare il POLSINO che è piuttosto alto, grazie alla morbidezza del tessuto che permette di essere gestito con estrema facilità.Dopo aver considerato attentamente le misure indicate in descrittiva, suggerisco nel dubbio di valutare di acquistare una TAGLIA IN MENO a quella che normalmente si è abituati ad indossare, si tratta infatti di un capo che veste leggermente largo, come d’altronde ho avuto modo di riscontrare nelle camicie in flanella sempre del marchio Amazon Essentials.Nel cercare di offrire dei riferimenti i più precisi possibili in relazione alle MISURE della TAGLIA M da me ordinata, se vado a misurare la felpa a riposo su un appendiabiti, i valori che posso segnalare sono di circa:TORACE sotto ascelle 53 cm, SPALLE 45 cm, MANICA 62 cm da fine spalla a polsino, LUNGHEZZA totale dalla spalla 68 cm.Alla prova sul campo, la felpa si indossare bene, non lega, non vincola nei movimenti, consentendo di vestire sotto ancora un ulteriore capo non troppo aderente come una camicia anche in flanella, magari di quelle a quadrettoni sempre della serie Amazon Essentials, oppure una più semplice maglietta in cotone a maniche lunghe.Il capo infatti non stringe ne a vita come neppure sulle spalla e garantisce quel calore che può migliorare il comfort quotidiano durante i primi abbassamenti di temperature di fine autunno – inizio inverno, pur non essendo eccessivamente spesso ne troppo pesante.Le CUCITURE e quindi il CONFEZIONAMENTO del tessuto, risultano discrete e sempre in linea con la tipologia sportiva/economica del capo, una felpa che comunque non stona abbinata ad un paio di pantaloni sportivi, anche dei semplici jeans, per una abbigliamento informale e pratico che trovo apprezzabile nella nostra zona collinare di campagna, anche da utilizzare semplicemente in giardino o durante le escursioni con i nostri cani, o chissà durante un viaggio per sentirsi comodi.Nel complesso mi sento quindi di promuovere questa felpa della serie AMAZON ESSENTIALS, per le caratteristiche complessive del capo, acquistato in 3 colori differenti tra novembre ed inizio dicembre 2022 ad un PREZZO variabile tra i 10.25 euro della blu in offerta ai 13.87 euro nella taglia M.Si tratta di un costo che valuto molto interessante, ma che ritengo sia equilibrato anche a prezzi maggiori come i circa 18 euro a cui vengono proposti alcuni colori al momento della recensione della prima metà di dicembre 2022, con un ulteriore coupon sconto del 25% che ribassano il prezzo finale.L’ultima verifica che andrà fatta è la reazione del tessuto dopo i primi lavaggi, ma è probabile che valuterò di acquistare altre colorazioni.In quanto alla spedizione e consegna da parte di Amazon, sono state anche in queste circostanze efficienti e puntuali grazie al servizio Prime.Ho trovato molto interessante anche il servizio PRIME, PROVA PRIMA, PAGA DOPO che consente di tenere alcuni capi e restituirne altri, tuttavia si deve valutare che nel caso di reso i capi andranno portati ad un punto di raccolta DHL in quanto non sarà il corriere di Amazon a venire a ritirarli.Mi auguro che questa recensione possa essere di aiuto e se avete dubbi o quesiti non
