Works well with an Android Motorola stylusThis product holds your phone tight and snug, with plenty of space for your phone to charge while in the stand. The main base has a bevle joystick ancher. You loosen the nut to set the phone position, then you tighten it to lock into place. The arms are spring loaded release. Squeeze together to close. Press the easy access release button on the back of the bas to release the phone. The base attached to your heater vent, and the anker allows you to use both vertical and horizontal vents with easy repositioning. Its design comes with a lever locking “kick stand” that tightens the clip to the vent. The kickstand causes the clip to grip and lock tight into the vent, so if you hit a bump, turns a tight curve, or go over rough tracks, this product will hold firm and not fall. This is my second purchase of this product in 5 years and it works fine. Easy to install and highly reliable. After awhile the springs that hold the phone weaken. Given the amount of uses I am not surprised and it has allowed me to be safe while driving. Actually I bought three of them. I used the second months ago. I bought one for my disabled brother who has trouble with his hands. I returned it immediately when I deduced that he would not be able to grip the device.

I have owned a different phone holder I purchased from Amazon. It has been very difficult to install, and use. I got so frustrated with it I looked again on Amazon and found this holder with great reviews. I agree totally. This holder installed in 10 seconds, and is working perfectly. It’s easy in place on the holder and remove.

Just what I wanted, until…
Simple to put together, install, and use.There is one point in the instructions that could have been clearer (they don’t really show that you need to *push* the ball into the main body until it clicks) (if you don’t, the ball won’t fit and will seem to slide out of the assembly), but it only took me a minute to figure that out.Sturdy, fits well (please note that that are two different tightness settings on the clamp that attaches to your vent, so one will probably work better than the other, depending on the thickness of your louvers), rotates readily to horizontal or vertical. Clamps on the side hold the phone in place with a gentle push; an easily accessible button on the back pops it open to release the phone. Can’t beat it, especially for the price.Edited to add: I changed my rating from five stars to three. Most of the things above are true, but: It was great the first several months but then, after only using it for 6(?) months, once or twice a week, it suddenly started coming loose and falling off the louvers. It doesn’t unclamp, it simply comes loose from the louver and hangs down or falls off. Not very convenient when you’re driving. I can open the clamp, put it back on the louver, and tighten it again, and it’s good for a week or so, then it happens again. Considering I only use it a few times a week, for me that makes it very unreliable. Will replace it with something else ASAP.

I’ve had this phone holder for several months now and it has held up perfectly. Not a single issue with putting it in the car, holding the phone, or making any adjustments. It fits nicely in my vents and there has been no issue with it coming out on its own or being loose. Would purchase again and will in the future, if i have a need to!

Bulky, inconvenient, and not at all durable
I bought this to replace a similar phone holder (not Amazon brand) that I let someone borrow and never got back. The one I originally bought is no longer sold, so I bought this one because it was the closest product I could find to what I’d had before. This one is terrible in comparison! The form factor is super bulky, which is very inconvenient in my car because there’s not much space between the vents and the steering wheel. You have to reach around the back of the phone holder to release your phone from its grasp, which is particularly inconvenient because it’s so bulky. The mechanism by which it clamps to the vent is not actually adjustable, it just toggles between a couple different options for the width of the clamp’s opening, and after less than a month and a half of use the clamp stopped properly closing on the smaller width option. In fact, after less than a month and a half of use, several parts of this phone holder gave out and it would not hold my phone steady while I drove. I don’t recommend this product!

Well made and works great. I like the way the “grabbers” move in with a squeeze and out with the press of a button. I discard the air vent thing and mounted mine directly to a black spot on the dash.

I’ve been searching for a good quality car cellphone holder at a decent price for months and here it was all along in Amazon basics???Works perfectly AND at an unbeatable price?!?It holds the phone tight, clamps onto my vent fin and won’t let go until it is released. You can even turn it horizontally for added convenience.I am literally making a mental list of whom I can gift this great product to for Christmas presents.Just get the holder, you won’t be disappointed.

Honestamente busqué demasiadas opciones y esta era la que menos me parecía atractiva (a nivel personal, ya que el diseño no me gustaba mucho) pero el resto de productos a comparación siempre tenían algún comentario no favorable (imanes que no tenían suficiente fuerza, o debes usar una calca en tu funda o celular para que pegue, o no tenían suficiente agarre, etc, etc). Pero este soporte de Amazon basics es lo que los clientes necesitan, en verdad, está diseñado para agarrase bien a la ventanilla del a/c, está diseñado para teléfonos grandes y pesados (yo tengo iPhone 13 pro max), además de que es 100% ajustable y se queda todo el tiempo en la posición que lo dejas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Y sobre el diseño, la verdad que es muy bonito, no se dejen llevar por las fotos (eso me pasaba a mi), esta base es la combinación perfecta y equilibrada entre diseño y funcionalidad. (Amo la forma en que liberas con una sola mano tu celular).
