Since I’m not a seafood eater, I take a fish oil supplement regularly. But I typically have a love/hate relationship with fish oil. I love the health benefits of fish oil but hate the fishy burps. I switched to taking them at bedtime which helped but didn’t eliminate the problem. Then I heard a tip to keep them in the freezer. That significantly helped with the burping, BUT I kept forgetting to take them. I ordered these fish oil supplements by Micro Ingredients because they were advertised as burpless and lemon flavored. Since so many that are advertised as burpless make me burp anyway, I figured with these I’d at least taste lemon. I’m so happy to report I don’t taste any lemon because these don’t make me burp AT ALL. Amazing. I think this is the first time the burpless claim actually held up. I do smell the lemon from the bag which is actually kind of nice vs. the typical fish oil smell. The other thing I love about these pills is their size. They are much smaller than the standard fish oil capsule, by at least half. These are also tested for heavy metals, which is a big, big plus for me and something I don’t frequently see on fish oil products. They are sourced from wild-caught fish as well with both EPA and DHA. There really is plus after plus when it comes to this fish oil supplement. For ~$20 for a 150-day supply in earth-friendly packaging, I think these are an excellent value.

Easy to swallow!
I’ll give this 5 stars for ease of swallowing! I’m not a doctor nor a testing lab, so I will make no claims here. I’ll just say that I have added this to our family supplement list and we are happily taking it daily.

Powerful Omega-3 with the best ingredients of EPA and DHA
As we get older, we need more Omega-3 fatty acids, that’s what I was told. I did some reading on Omega-3 and that EPA and DHA are the hardest to get. The so called “ALA” Omega-3 are commonly found but our body had to convert it to EPA and DHA to make then usable and more effective. Some people, especially the elderly, have impaired metabolism making it more difficult to change ALA to EPA and DHA. So taking those easily usable type of Omega-3 directly will be more beneficial, according to many experts that I read. The great thing about this product is that on the label it tells you exactly how much EPA and DHA it contains.It is also great that the pills are lot smaller than other marketed fish oil / Omega-3 pills. It is half the size or even third of the size of some fish oil pills. It makes it lot easier to swallow and takes up lot less space especially when travelling.At first I wanted in a bottle rather than in a mylar bag but after reading how mylar bag can help the environment, I agree. But for convenience, I would like it in a bottle for ease and cleanliness, because I have to dig in with my “dirty” hand and it’s not easy to drop just one pill on my palm from the bag.

Great supplement!
I really like this company, their supplements are very simple but effective. This omega 3 supplement works well and is easy to take unlike some others I’ve tried. The capsules are not huge and I haven’t had fishy burps afterwards either.

Excellent Quality
After reading the labels on this supplement, I was excited to see that there were no unexpected additives. Just the fatty acids I’ve been looking for. The softgels are easy to swallow and I didn’t experience any strange taste or bad burps that I’ve had with other supplements. I also like that they come packaged in a bag so storage is easy, especially when traveling. I’ve been taking them for a few weeks and haven’t noticed any adverse reactions. This will be my new go to Omega 3 brand!
