These are excellent all around detailing swabs. I have a show car that gets a lot of dirt in little bitty places. This does a great job of cleaning them. It’s also good for your keyboard for your computer any electronic things you have or just for your car inside and out. Highly recommended I’ve even been able to wash them out and reuse some of them. This was purchased on impulse and a short of joke. I have just ordered several more packages to give gift to family. I did not know I needed but they are so handy and useful. Things like computer keys and other crevices difficult to access can now be cleaned. The variations in size and quality are excellent and a reasonable price.

They do work, but they are brittle and not very absorbant or soft. I think they would work fine for minor detail work. If they put a little piece of padding inside the microfiber or something absorbant they would be better.
