I will try many of the recipes. Some are too high in carbs for me, but many offer spice combinations beyond the usual. I believe turmeric is extremely healthy as are fresh herbs. Be encouraged to do things that will counteract some of the toxin things that hit us from all areas.

A Big Disappointment
As a long-time believer in the healing properties of turmeric, I was really looking forward to reading this book.I wasn’t able to find one recipe that I would actually try in this book. The amount of turmeric in each of the recipes is very small, usually 1/2-1 teas. at most for several servings. For anyone who is trying to incorporate more turmeric/curcumin into their diets for medicinal reasons, these amounts would serve little purpose.Most of the main dish recipes relied heavily on meat, which IMO is not something that should be front and center in a supposedly healthier choice for a cookbook.Deleted from my kindle already.

Turmeric although being used and eaten by us in curries for many years has only recently taken on the role as a superfood. Recent research even shows how it can combat cancer cells so a book a recipes is welcome. Lots of good recipes to try as well as getting that all important mild spice into the mix. Recommended.
