Great product
The Veanic digital thermometer / hygrometer meter is a beautifully designed measuring device. The new model is now easier to read as the display for both the temperature and humidity hare the same size (with the previous version, the temperature numerals were smaller than the humidity numerals). These small meters are exceptionally accurate and with a 4-pack, can be placed in various locations.In my particular case, I’ve attached a small magnet to the back so that I can mount it onto any metallic surface. There is no effect on the display or the readings.Each meter operates on 2 small “LR44” button batteries, factory installed. Because of the LCD display, you can expect the batteries to last a very long time… I’ve yet to replace any batteries in any meter. Additionally, the batteries are inexpensive and readily available.Veanic customer service is excellent. I had a small issue with one of the meters and within 24 hours of sending an email, received a full and satisfactory reply.In short, a great product from an excellent company… highly recommended!

Nice tool but really slow to adjust to temp
I got these for my incubator. They are small and fit nicely. They are easy to read outside of the incubator, but the glass from the incubator obstructs them so that they read the wrong number when looking through it. As a result, I have to open the incubator to get the temperature and humidity, which isn’t ideal. These thermometers are also really, really slow to adjust. While it is a benefit in that they don’t change when I open the incubator to take a look, they literally take hours before I can get a good reading. I have another thermometer in my incubator that gives a different reading, and while it is a still air incubator so some difference is normal, the reading was significantly different yesterday and today the reading is fairly close. My conclusion is that it took that long for these little thermometers to get an accurate read. I put two of them in the incubator and it seems pretty consistent between the two.I suspect these are a great choice if you are buying them for something more consistent in temperature, but not ideal for an incubator. I’ll use them for now, but I’m going to replace them with something else.

good precision, inexpensive
I have 16 of these, ordered on 4 occasions. I set them up together and monitored their readings in different locations. For temperature they stayed within one or two degrees of each other; same with humidity. There is no on/off switch but seem to stay on for about a year. And the good news is that it’s easy to change out the 2 little LR44 batteries. I set them up around my house to check the temperature distribution. They are so small they are seldom noticed. And so inexpensive you could order a dozen and just discard any that don’t agree with the others. When hunting or backpacking I carry a couple to check the temperature–like inside and outside of my tent. Like all my pack items, they are small and lightweight. For the price they are a bargain.

I don’t care about the humidity–just wanted a general idea of the temperature range in my kitchen, but am also using them all around the house. As to temperature accuracy, the one in the living room, though at a slightly different height, usually shows the same temp. as our newly wall-installed furnace thermostat. I like their small size that allows me to place them just about anywhere. You can stand them up on their long side, so easier to read, or lay them on their back. Great value for the money.Am revising my review to help people in the US buy replacement batteries, as originals (“AG13”) are unfamiliar to me. Energizer size 357 batteries work perfectly, and I found packages of 3 at the local Ralph’s supermarket. It’s very simple to remove and replace these batteries, too.

Humidity reading error over time
I purchased a 4-Pack mini digital thermometer hygrometer meters in January of 2023 and most recently another 4-Pack February of 2025. I noticed that the 4 new gauges are all reading the same for both temperature and humidity. I placed two of the four older meters next to the new meters and the temperature readings correlated very well. The humidity readings for the new meters were all the same at 22% and the two older meters are at 10%. I changed the batteries in one of the two old meters, and it still read 10%. While the price is very good, the reliability of the devices for humidity readings is not.

All four had almost identical readings.
I have no way to determine accuracy except to compare with my other thermometers including an IR thermometer. The are all within acceptable limits. And the reading of the four are the same +/- 1°F or 1% RH. Most of the time they have identical readings. I use them manage my curing conditions for cannabis and need the small size to fit into my curing jars. The only negative is a very slow response time. This isn’t a concern for my use, but could be an issue for someone needing to get fast readings in changing environments. I haven’t had these long enough to determine battery life but see this seems to be one of the reasons for 1 & 2 star reviews. The batteries are inexpensive and easy to change so I doubt thus will be a concern for me.

A nice cluster of four to add to my others.
These are easy to read and work better than my analog one on a thermometer. With both temperature and humidity in digital format, they are easy to read. The shipper included a couple of extra replacement button batteries.

These thermometer/hygrometers work well, seem accurate and easy to use. My only issue is part of the temp on the digital screen of one of the two units doesn’t show (bottom line). I can still extrapolate the number fine though since most of it is there. They are a little smaller than I thought they would be, but that is fine. You can still see the readings. Good value for the cost and very quick shipping with good product packaging. Even sent extra batteries for them! 🙂
