Works better than previous mics
Everyone complained of how muffled I was with interference on mic that came with Jensen stereo, changed that mic to a Sony one. Not much better. This one has been a great improvement. Not perfect but much less better than the other two.

Sounds amazing
My Alpine head unit was installed by the previous owner, who left out the mic. I bought this (finally) and installed it. SO glad I did! The sound quality is great. My calls are clear and I can finally do “hands free” calling w/ Siri.

Fixed low sensitivity problems with aftermarket Android stereo
I bought one of those Chinese Android car stereos which actually turned out to be a great stereo but had a horrible microphone. I could scream into the mic on that Android head unit and people would say I sounded “far away” , they could barely hear me and hear a ton of background noise. This plugged directly into the back of the unit on the 3.5mm plug and totally fixed all the mic issues. Works great now, and people don’t hear the road noise over my voice like previously before. I mounted it into the head liner overhead and the cord is long enough to go down the column and back to the center dash.

Good, but finicky cable.
The cable is loose or something. I have to move the cable so that people can hear me well. In other words, sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not. When it does work, seems like sounds is good.
