Great old fashioned thermometer
It’s hard to find a non digital thermometer these days. The digitals I have founds are not accurate, so what’s the point in checking your temperature if it won’t give you an accurate reading anyhow? Not sure why there have been a bunch of negative reviews, maybe cuz they’re not sure how to use a non digital one. This is a simple, straightforward thermometer. Stick it, close your mouth, count 5 minutes (yes, I know it sounds like FOREVER!), and then read the number where the line goes up to. May everyone stay nice and healthy!

Garbage
These thermometers are such garbage, it’s like the manufacturer wasn’t even trying to design something that had any hope of working. When mine arrived, one of them was already broken. The inner tube, containing the fluid, was broken so that one was useless. The second one was intact, but it was entirely inaccurate. The fluid never climbed any higher than 92*. Useless.

Accuracy is Important
I prefer to use this clinical thermometer. I have used the electronic gun type, electronic under the tongue type. They are not as accurate as the glass. I may be a little old school, but some things you cannot improve upon.

Won’t register any temperature!
These won’t register any temperature. They simply don’t work. I couldn’t get one off of 98.7 or the other off of 93.5 degrees. I used under the tongue and under armpit. I shook them, as instructed. I dint think Amazon should sell them. Even if half were to work, they cost more time than they will be worth.They are wrapped very tightly /efficently, and come with some funny instructions (half are written by someone without much knowledge of English). They are top heavy and thus hard to hold under the tongue for a few minutes.

Piece of Junk
It’s just a piece of junk. Doesn’t work and I’m old enough to know how to use these. Had to shake very very hard to get it below the 98.6 degree temperature mark.
