They will fit standard size gauge wire.
This is a 240 piece of insulated copper wire ferrules. You get three different sizes, 4 gauge, 8 gauge, and 10 to 12 gauge. You get red and black of each. I have some 4 gauge copper wire, the same stuff you would use for your battery leads, and the ferrules fit with no problem. I plan on using these for the 4 gauge wire running into my amplifiers, it cleans the look up a little bit, and stops all them stray wires from trying to stick out. I’m also going to use them on the input for the speakers. If you are going into an amplifier, you don’t need a crimping tool, the set screw will do the crimping for you. But for the smaller sizes, you will need ferrul crimper, but those are pretty inexpensive. I do not have a ton of experience with these, but the quality to me seems good.

Handy kit with larger sized ferrules
These larger size ferrules are very handy for the larger sized cables needed for lots of solar power and battery projects. The ferrules pretty much eliminate the problem of stray wire strands sticking out from wire terminations. They also provide a nice solid surface for clamping screws. The appropriate sized crimping tool is required to install these correctly, but several ferrule crimping tools are available on Amazon for not much money. Great kit.
