This can be used for protein powder, but also so much more! I like to take my pre-workout, amino and recovery drinks and such on the go and sometimes in a disposable water bottle to get rid of before a race. However, I always end up spilling some when trying to pour into the small opening of a water bottle. This is exactly what I was looking for!How I use it:1. I take my pre-workout or amino drink mix on the go, conveniently clipped to my bag.2. Easily dump mix it in the water bottle before leaving my car or transition area.3. Drink it before the race.4. Throw away the disposable water bottle. (Don’t have to worry about gear check to save a wide mouth water bottle or losing the small storage container.)PROs:- Both sides screw on securely.- Large side is easy to easy to dump in from a scoop.- Small side is easy to dump from into a small mouth water bottle.- Love the carabiner clip to keep it in a convenient, consistent spot. (One less thing to worry about with pre-race jitters!)(possible) CONs:- Description reads it is high-quality food grade. Is it BPA-free? Doesn’t say.- Description reads it is easy to clean. Is it dishwasher safe? Doesn’t say.Some minor improvement suggestions:- Have the little cap be tethered to the funnel. It is small and us athletes can be a bit jittery when hyped up before a race or after working out hard.- Have the ring between carabiner and lid be a bit stronger. Us athletes aren’t always gentle and what heartbreak if our packed drink was lost due to the thin ring failing.This is definitely a good value for this product and very functional. I would actually pay even more if the above improvements above were made. I can’t speak to durability yet over repeated uses/washings. If anything comes up, I will update this review. Otherwise, you can assume it is sufficient, I am happy with the product and would highly recommend. :)I hope this review has helped inform your decision!

I ordered these to use as funnels for pouring drip coffee from a glass canning jar into any of my Zojirushi double-walled travel containers.These protein funnels are useful devices for the purpose for which they are designed. However, the plastic is lightweight and they are very small. As of the writing of this review, this item costs $7.19 for the two funnels. Available from a different vendor is an identical-looking set that costs $4.99. That’s the set I would order if I were paying for it and not receiving it gratis through the Amazon Vine program.One way to avoid this type of product, altogether, is to carry a mixing container (with the steel whisk-ball inside) pre-loaded with your protein powder to the gym or your other athletic endeavor and, simply, add water after the workout for your recovery beverage. That has been my practice for years.Nonetheless, if these tiny funnel devices better suit your preferences, enjoy.Blessings

These are designed almost exactly like one that I bought from a name brand supplement store.There’s not much to these types of containers: they’re made of hard plastic with threaded lids at both ends. The size is perfect for small mouthed water bottles, so no need to try to find a wide-mouth water bottle if you’re like me and don’t always use a shaker bottle.These are well made and should last a long time. The clips, on other hand, are weak and I would not trust them for long.

They don’t squish!
Ok… so… I’ve had more than one set of these and my biggest pet peeve has been that when they have gotten squashed (as things attached to gym bags are wont to do) the top pops off and powder goes everywhere. These? They were unsquishable! I mean, they were ‘big muscle guy kicking the bag out of frustration’ unsquishable. I mean ‘goofy 100 lb dog stepping on it and then trying to open it’ unsquishable. These puppies kept my protein powder safe and dry. They do their job.They aren’t obtrusive looking – they don’t scream gym rat. They wash up quickly with a little dish soap and a bottle brush. All in all, this is a nice little powder container.

Why hasn’t anyone else thought of making a powder drink mix container into a funnel shape? It just makes so much sense. I use them to drink a big travel mug of water first thing, fill it up again and make ice tea in the afternoon. However, I left them on the drying rack and my adult daughter claimed one to use to mix her after workout protein drink powder into a standard water bottle at the gym. Both of us love them. This product is highly recommended.
