Great phone holder!
I have purchased several phone holders with the CD mount and either they would not install with a snug fit or they would come loose over time. This one checks all of the boxes and installs tightly in the CD slot and has not come loose. The magnet holds my iPhone securely both with a MagSafe case and with no case. The build quality is excellent and I no longer worry about my phone coming loose while driving! Great product!

Works great
I have tried many phone holders in my car. This one is by far the best. In some of the reviews, people were worried about it hurting the CD player. Most people aren’t using the CD player, that’s why they put this in there. It works great. It holds the phone where I want it and you can rotate and turn it all over the place. It’s really good. Not sure if it’s damaged the CD player but I really don’t care. I stream everything. Haven’t had or played a CD in years.

Works Well – One Flaw
Love this. It gives my CD player a use, isn’t attached to an air vent and I can still see my screen. Magnet is strong and I’ve never had my phone fall off. My only gripe is that for some reason when the temperature gets warm the screw/tightening mechanism gets super loose. Not enough that the product doesn’t work but enough that it needs to be readjusted more frequently than when the temperature is cooler. It didn’t have this problem when I first used it couple of months ago.

CD slot cell phone holder
I LOVE IT!!! I drive a 1997 Ford F150. The dash is curved do NO suction mounts will stay for me. The cup holder is too small to handle a larger cell phone. So the one that went into the CD playing slot was PERFECT! It is at a good height to not obstruct my vison; it is tight enough that on rough roads it does not shake out of the CD slot or fall off the magnet. I am soooo happy with my purchase!

It’s sturdy, practical, uses a dead space (CD player) which I don’t think I’ll ever use and make it useful.Magnet is strong, but not so strong that it’ll pull the stand of, no.Installing is very easy, just make sure you don’t jam the ball in the hole without loosing the lock first.

Have a CD player that you never ever use? Now it’s a phone holder! I’ve installed these onto a few cars and it’s been great. Strong magnet holds the phone, everything tightens down enough to hold things steady. We’ve come all the way around from the tape -> cd adaptor. Only thing I’d improve is to have it be a magsafe charger too.
