Curved boards – never even used them for this reason.
Nice concept, poor materials were used… or at least quality control isn’t very good on these. They will hold major building block brands but the major flaw in these is that not one but BOTH of the board were severely curved downward. This made them mostly unusable because they both looked bad but also because a ridged block build won’t sit in the shelves properly.

16in Shelves Floating Shelves for Building Block Display – Compatible as a Lego Display Shelf
We are huge lego fans, and have multiple shelving units around the house with lego builds on them. I saw these and thought they would be perfect to place a couple of the builds on. These are obviously hand made, with lego base plates added on to the shelving unit. This is fine, they are done well and I have no complaints about that. This set of shelves is a bit thinner than the other floating shelves that we have, but again as long as you aren’t putting a whole lot of weight on them, that won’t be a problem. I like the front lip that hides the base plate you’re attaching your lego build to. They include a set of round white stickers to cover the spots where you screw the shelf into place.Why only 4 stars? Because these are not really true white, they are more of a “dirty” white. you can see it best in the photo of the shelf back with the white “cover” sticker in place – the stickers and lego base plates are white, but the shelves are a bit more cream. I’m not sure I’m actually going to use these shelves because that’s just too noticeable to me. However overall, these shelves are nicely constructed and have a definite purpose.

Horrible quality.
There must be little to no quality checking going on here. The wood is warped, in some places the paint is chipped and pieces of wood are already splintering. If I had seen the warped wood before installing I would be returning for a refund. Save your money and build something yourself.

Nice Display stand for Lego and similar blocks
The shelves are a made of quality pine, sanded down and painted white, designed to fit Lego flats that are 16×50 (I think–that’s close anyway). They include a reasonably complete mounting kit, and should be fairly easy to hang on a wall. It’s not meant to hold much weight, but since building blocks are so lightweight, it should be strong enough. I haven’t hung the shelves yet since my office is in flux, but I don’t expect any problems. I’ve included a shot with some figures and vehicles on the shelves to give an idea of their size. YOu can also see what’s in the mounting kit on the second shelf behind the one with the figures. It should allow me to keep things out of reach of little fur people or children to avoid certain…problems. Should make a nice display at some point in the near future.

Great Shelves for Lego Builds!
These are well-made shelves of solid-quality plastic and plywood. These were easy to install on the walls and also provided secure ways to hold the brick builds in place – the plastic base allows the securing of builds and is compatible with most brick builds including the name brand. They are sturdy and durable. Although I could have placed them side-by-side to allow for more display room, I placed them in a diagonal pattern that enhanced the builds I selected to put on the shelves. They look nice and they help keep my most prized builds from the prying and destructive fingers of little ones. Highly recommend.
