I was apprehensive after reading some of the ratings. I was concerned about the material of bristles. I wanted boar hair as advertised. Natural hair would be more durable and chemical resistant was my reasoning. I found the product to be solid and reliable. I’ve used them twice and let friends and relatives use them and bristles are still holding their firmness , tightness and shape, a minimal amount of hair breakage. I liked the 3pcs small brush set but didn’t survive second use. Plastic one was great at first but bristles deformed after first use surprisingly the metal/silver one deformed almost immediately-I didn’t use the brass one . Vent cleaners are nice durable and reusable. All in all I was very pleased with the brush set.

Love the set for cleaning my car. I would not use the wire brushes on my car. They can be used for other things though. Good quality. Bristles work well inside the car. Good set!!

Not Boar Hair, its plastic.
I want to meet the boar that sheds plastic, so be aware that these are not natural bristles. But for the price point, I cannot complain about that. The set comes packaged in a box, so it’s lovely for gift-giving. The three little wire brushes have differing wire strengths one appears to be very stiff plastic. All three have plastic handles. The two little vent cleaners are very stiff plastic with hard plastic bristles (may scratch plastic or car surfaces), but the microfiber covers would likely work well. Overall, it is still a good deal for D.I.Y car maintenance cleaning (even if used once, you will save on paying someone to detail your vehicle). If you are okay with knowing this set is hard plastic and you are buying it for self-maintenance of your own car and not in the business of car detailing, these are a good deal.

Simple brushes, I would avoid using them on easy to scratch surfaces just to be safe. The bristle are still stiff, but not overly stiff. I use them on plastic surfaces, interior and such. The vent brushes are very convenient. The wire metal brushes are meh. You really have to have elbow grease to make them to good use. Overall, good kit.
