Works perfectly
I have had multiple thermometers in my 60 years of cooking. I have tried the wireless, app driven ones. I find the apps attached to them a primary detriment (notably staying connected). The one thing I do like is that many of the apps predict the time to the set temperature. I had a wired version that provided this particular predictive timing function. It died after a couple of years of service. I wanted another, but they are hard to find, even on Amazon. My second one died. Now I cannot find this type of predictive wired probe thermometer. Back to a wireless probe with an app? Oh well. And “no”.I ended up getting this ThermoPro wired version. It is simple. No predictive function. Still, I like it. It does exactly what it is supposed to, provide an accurate temperature inside an item while it cooks. I used it on New Years Eve with a roast. The roast came out exactly as I wanted it – medium rare. The price is great. The durability seems standard. The display is easy to read. Operation is easy to understand. (Be sure to unwrap the battery!). The probe wire is long enough so the main display can sit on the counter next to the oven (or grill). Recommended!

The reading was accurate
I had this same thermometer before, but dropped it in the water and it stopped working. I wanted the exact item that I broke and that is what I ordered. It is very easy to use. I love being see the temp of the meat I’m fixing without having to open the oven door. The alarm is loud enough that I can hear it from another room. This is a great product.

I first bought this thermometer a year ago, and I have found it to be very useful and necessary for baking as well as for verifying the true temperature of my oven. I also use this for checking the temperature of food that I make in the crock pot. The long prob easily inserts into whatever I am cooking, and the thin cord does not allow heat to escape. I liked this thermometer so much that I just recently bought a second one.

I have been looking for a durable thermometer for years, and am quite happy with this one. I find it to be convenient, accurate, easy to read, and easy to clean. The different settings are easy to access and can be super helpful for someone learning different safety temperatures! Would buy again (but I haven’t had to!)

Almost indestructible! ALMOST
I initially bought 2 of these — one for work, one for home.At work I use it almost daily to keep temps of various cuts of beef such as brisket or tri tip to get it to the doneness I desire. It’s quite literally a “Set it and forget it!” thermometer that I can leave. The alarm goes off without a hitch when it reaches set temp. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. With this thermometer everything comes out perfectly the way I want it to!At home, I opened up the second one to use this Thanksgiving. I had the 2 thermometers set for different temps and they worked wonderfully! However, through no fault of the product, I melted the body unit of one of the thermometers. I used the magnet to attach it to the side of a grill — my mistake — and the body almost completely melted. BUT! IT STILL WORKED! And it STILL WORKS! the battery compartment is melted shut and some of the wires are exposed, but it still reads and works like a champ (this one is going to have to be replaced once the battery dies)!Definitely a great investment at a great price!

Fantastic little device!
I have started making my own yogurt. Temperature control is very important, depending on what microbe you are using. This gadget is awesome! You can put the probe inside of whatever is in the oven, and the cord is so small it doesn’t prevent the oven door from closing. I was able to monitor the heat inside with the thermometer sitting on my counter to the side of the oven. You can set a temperature alarm, and if it goes over that setting, an alarm starts beeping. You can stick it into a pot on the stove, or under a stream of running water a know the temperature. It is extremely useful. Highly recommended.

I used this to warm a pre cooked ham for Christmas. Set the alarm for 133°.I got busy then the alert beeper went off at 133°. Pulled ham out of the oven and let it sit to cook internationally to reached desired temp. The probe wire length is enough to get base unit about 3 inches on stove top or counter edge. That seems to be the industry norm now. I would buy it again. ALWAYS use a meat thermometer when cooking meat!!! Makes a world of difference between dry over cooked meat vs done juicy moist meat. Hard to tell doneness of meat by looking, poking, n guessing. I fought it for a long. Bought a meat thermometer and took the guess work out of cooking meat. Well worth the investment. Just wipe the probe off with a soapy rag and wipe off with a damp rag. Do not submerge the probe in water. This is a good unit.

米麹を作るために購入しました。設定温度になると鳴るアラーム機能が付いていて安心です。これが戸建の1階に設置して、2階で寝ていてもわかる大音量。他の家族も巻き添えにしながら（汗）無事完成しました 。3回にわたり丸8日位スイッチを入れっぱなしにしましたが、まだ電池ももっています。価格もお手頃で買って良かったです。

Happy with this product. Bought it to do a BBQ spit. Its easy to use and its quick to provide a temp reading. Select the meat to be cooked insert prod and it will beep if its reached correct temp and it will give you a temp reading.The cable between the prod and display unit is long enough for my use.My only minor complaint is that once used its a hassle to repack for storge as the packaging is a bit too small. Maybe if I discard the internal plastic bit it will fit better but it will be loose inside the box.
