I have no idea, truly, what they put in these things, only that my cat is addicted and literally screams for these things… Every. Single. Day.He seems to like the crunch, the flavor, the fun, the excitement, EVERYTHING, more than any other food item I have ever given him (and his food and other treats are the good stuff).A typical morning goes like this… He will eat a few bites of his breakfast and then immediately start demanding his Greenies by a series of loud and obnoxious meows (that will NOT stop) and rubbing against my legs in a plea and an order to get me to move to the pantry shelf where this box is stored. If I do not comply, this will go on for minutes, even HOURS.I’m not sure if this hinders his access to said dental treats, or if this just adds to the fun and irresistibility of the product, but I place his daily dose of Greenies dental treats in a slow feeder ball that he has to bat around with his paws or nudge it with his nose in order to release a treat or two through the holes in the ball.After completing his Greenies dental treats ritual, he will commence eating his breakfast. (Because, these things are FAR better than any normal food).Regardless, he loves them. And continues to love them. And demanding them. And as such, I will continue to buy them.Do they help keep his teeth clean? Honestly, I have no idea. But a girl can hope.

My sister gave me our first box of these. Her cat didn’t like them so much, but ours does. We like them too because they’re good for kitty’s teeth. He comes running when I call, “Time to brush your teeth!” I give him just 3 or 4 twice a day, and he seems happy with that. Would absolutely recommend.

These genuinely worked for getting tartar off my cats teeth. I brush their teeth to remove plaque but not much you can do about tartar, after only a few weeks of these twice a day I can see it’s all gone. Mind you it wasn’t that serious of a case but still, the alternative would be a dental procedure. I have been giving half of the recommended doses because of their sensitive stomachs so if you’re looking to save money just give 2-4 a day and not 8.
