Provides Stability, Lightweight
The “quad cane” provides additional stability, but is light weight and easy. Good for tricky/slippery surfaces or when someone is carrying something. The alternative is the quad rubber replacement floor grip for regular canes, which is also very good, but not quite as stable and tends to wear out after 6 months or so.

written Wed Jun 19, 2024I had a foot surgery to repair ligaments in my right foot that never healed correctly from 2022. My doctor wanted me to start walking in a boot and suggested I get crutches or a cane. I decided to get a cane and look like a boss. The rectangle base makes it so I can’t walk like Denzel Washington but at least I’m not falling down. Super sturdy and keeps my balance – like it’s supposed to.I’m 5’2″ and 190 lbs. This cane is completely adjustable. It can actually go shorter for a shorter person than me, which I was impressed to see. Someone said it breaks easily. Don’t know WHAT you were doing with this cane but it’s pretty dang sturdy. I don’t think I’ll give this away even when I am healed because you just never know if you could use a cane someday. I actually think it’ll last me a long time.

It is well made and I should know, this is my second cane. Someone lifted it out of my grocery cart recently and I never found it. I got it originally to use as balance and it was wonderful. I liked that it could stand alone because I travel throughout the house and can keep track of it I guess somebody else saw that it was a winner and they needed it. They are happy and so am I.

Warped
I was very disappointed with this product. It was off balance and rocked when standing. The company told me that it was the end caps. I took the end caps off and it was definately the base that was warped and rocked rather than standing straight up. Sent the item back.
