This is one of the best phone holders. I can lock it into place in my CD slot and adjust it to my liking and lock. It has an easy release button and notch in bottom for charging cord. It fits both large Samsung and small I Phones. I really like that the head can swivel from driver to passenger so they can input address while driving. You can also use vertical or horizontal.

I’ve tried out many phone holders in my cars and never found one that checked all the boxes. This one seems to.I just bought a 2021 Acura and was surprised that it had an in-dash CD player – something that I wouldn’t use. So when I was looking for phone holders this one caught my eye since it could be mounted using the CD slot, but what was really appealing was the fact that it was so adjustable. I was looking at another holder that utilized the CD slot but I was concerned that it would block my lower in-dash screen. This one appeared to not have that problem so I went for it.The adjustability of this is great. I use the CD slot and was able to easily adjust the phone cradle so that it would not obstruct anything important. I saw that it also came with an alternate mounting mechanism – that being an attachment that would be used to mount it on an air vent. The CD slot worked best for me although after trying out the air-vent mount it seemed to be way better than any similar holders I’ve used in the past.If I have one complaint it’s that this holder rattles a bit – but only when there is no phone attached to it. When the phone is there it’s quiet, although it does shake a little. I noticed that mentioned in a prior review but when you think about it, it has to have some give to it – for the same reason that skyscrapers sway in the wind.So once the phone is mounted it’s not going anywhere and it’s held in place very securely, which is what we all want.Whether you have a in-dash CD player or plan to mount this on an air vent, it’s a great choice.

Works OK – Good for my Volvo S60
I purchased this mount because I did not want to block any air vents in my 2015 Volvo S60. I had concerns with the cantilevered arm, but that has proven to be solid and not presenting any problems or weaknesses. I was able to position the phone so it only blocks the emergency flasher switch from the drivers seat. The phone is nice and steady. I can see and operate the phone just fine.The phone release is not ideal being located on the back and stiff to operate. I have to press on the touch sensitive phone screen to release the phone, a problem if the screen is active. Fortunately, this is mitigated by the curve on the side tabs. It holds by S21 with Defender case snugly but loos enough I can lift the phone out of the mount without having to push the release tab.The CD player slot is angled a bit to make inserting CDs easier. This is not the best surface to wedge the mount into, resulting in some movement of the mount. This movement is not great enough to degrade phone operation.Curious note, the mount tends to rattle a bit without the phone in it while driving. I pretty much need to have the phone in the mount when ever I am driving.

This Phone Mount will fit into the CD Player slot. It will also fit into standard air vents. The reason I bought this particular Phone Mount was so that I could have my phone elevated just a bit higher than the common phone mounts. I use my phone as a dash cam. The way that this Phone Mount is constructed it raises the phone just enough to see very clearly over the dash. If you are using this for general purpose, this mount will work perfectly. It attaches into the CD Slot easily and securely. The phone slips into the mount easily and is secured very nicely. It comes in 3 parts which can be easily assembled without the use of tools. I really like this Phone Mount, I will use it daily and I highly recommend it.

This is super easy to instal and use! It holds up my iPhone 11 very well and has lasted. It is a little difficult to use larger screen sized phones though. But for the price, it is pretty awesome!

I don’t want to stick my garmin to the windshield and have the wires hanging through my field of vision, nor do I want it on the dash and have the same problem. A CD slot mount seemed like an excellent option. I tried another brand and found it flimsy and too much vibration when i drove. It also didn’t have a lot of positioning options once mounted. This is perfect.I can now have my GPS exactly where i want it. Doesn’t block anything that I need access too. Sure it takes up the cd slot, but I have never used it anyway. The part that mounts in the slot is very solid and there is no vibration at all when driving. It isn’t in my eye-line like it was when sitting on the soft mount on the dash, nor is it sitting too low and to the side like it was when I tried to use a small suction cup stuck to the console. The current placement also places the microphone in just the right spot – I don’t have to shout at it when using voice control.It comes with a holder for a phone, which I don’t use because the garmin is already set up for a ball mount. It also comes with a vent mount which seems to work fine. Also won’t be using that. Maybe pass them along to a friend for holding her phone.More expensive that the one I previously bought (and returned) but certainly worth the little extra. Better quality construction and infinite positioning ability.

Bisher ist im Dauerbetrieb noch nichts kaputt gegangen.Hier kann ich guten Gewissens eine Kaufempfehlung geben.

Llevo usando este soporte unas semanas y estoy muy contenta con el resultado que me está dando.Hasta ahora he tenido soportes tanto de ventosa como de los que se ponen en las rejillas de ventilación, y cada uno tiene sus ventajas y sus desventajas. Decidí probar este tipo ya que no uso nunca la ranura de CD y desde el primer momento me ha gustado.Los materiales no es que sean los mejores, pero están de sobra para el precio que tiene.Lo que más me gusta es la flexibilidad que tiene, ya que puedes girar el soporte en la dirección que quieras y el teléfono se va a aguantar perfectamente. Lo estoy usando con un Pixel 9 Pro XL que tiene 6,7 pulgadas y pesa más de 220 gramos y como digo no tiene problema. Obviamente en carreteras bacheadas el soporte vibra, pero no llega a despegarse como pasa con los de ventosa, por lo que no es un problema.Resumiendo, es un buen soporte. Me gusta especialmente la flexibilidad que tiene para poder poner el teléfono como quieras y los materiales aunque no sean de muy alta calidad van acordes con el precio.Lo recomiendo sin ninguna duda.
