Perfect fit, accurate measurements, & blocks the heat
FINALLY! My search for a new car sun shade for my windshield is over. For some reason, I’ve been having issues finding a replacement for my old sun shade. I’ve purchased multiple, and the measurements were never accurate. It was either too big or too small, but this one from Aokdom got it just right. Although it’s off by half an inch in width (my old sun shade was 63.5”), that’s not an issue. There is enough fabric to entirely block out the sunlight. The fabric is thin, but that doesn’t hinder its effectiveness. The velcro strip is a nice touch, but I don’t necessarily find it useful. Even without it, the sunshade will stay in place. It’s also very easy to fold and place back into the storage bag. I wouldn’t say that it’s made of superior quality, but considering the price, it’s a great buy. As long as it’s keeping the heat out and protecting my interior, that’s all that matters.

works for hyundai sonata
does a good job with blocking out the light for the hyundai sonata, so I’m not burning my hands by the time i get in the car. Its still hot in my car, but for a black colored car in 90-100 degree weather, id say that’s to be expected. I like that it covers everything, but collapses quick and small. comes with a carrying case, but I put it between the seat and center console so I don’t use that.

Measure your windows for perfect fit
I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima for reference. I like the easy installation and sun protection. Easy to open, not so easy to close. Takes some practice. You will have to fold down the sun shades to keep it in place, or it will not serve its purpose. I like the Velcro feature that attaches around the rearview mirror. It helps keep it up, while also keeping the sun from peaking through that area. Other brands don’t have this feature. They also don’t have different sizes. Customizable, well made and functional. Good value for the money. I had to return one for the right size, so be sure to measure your windows. Before, there was a 2 inch space for the sun to come in. Now, it fits perfectly. Keeps the sun out, but closing it may cause some frustration.
