Great, but you need SEVERAL sets!
These are cool. They are 1” by 1” blocks that connect magnetically and have a “Minecraft” theme to them. Kids of all ages love them and they are easily to play with. Each set comes with its own storage bag as well. The only downfall is that you have to buy multiple sets in order to build anything substantial. We have 8 boxes of these in various packs and we can build a small village. They are durable enough for kids that like to throw everything around. They function well for encouraging creatively and problem solving with our boys (8,9 years). I recommend these if you’re willing to spend decent money.

I got these as a birthday gift for my 7 year old son who loves Minecraft and they have been a huge hit! They come with a convenient carrying bag which has really helped him keep up with all the pieces. He likes to use his Lego Minecraft figures and makes little homes for them! Very cute and keeps him well entertained!! Admittedly a bit expensive for how few pieces it includes but I’d still say it was worth it.

Fun and well made, but budget for several sets
These are well made, and cute, I think my child will have a lot of fun with them. But note that the pictures are quite misleading about what you’ll be able to build with a single set.The pictures I’ve included here show what we could make with two of these 48 block sets combined.I bought one, realized how small it was, and bought another. That’s good for now, but the single set alone would have been very limited in what we could make.So I recommend you either get two, or get one of the bigger sets.

I’m pretty pleased
So firstly I’m an adult so depending on who you are getting this for, a child might not optimize by using unneeded pieces as the non visible foundation like I did. With that being said I purchased a different brand (magnacraft) prior and I really enjoyed them but they were a little on the expensive side so I looked to Amazon and got 2 of these sets( slightly less expensive). I also bought a different brand at the same time that was slightly cheaper than this one so we will see if they are compatible(forgot name). This brand is not compatible with magnacrafts which is smaller but after using both I don’t think it was as bad of a thing as I initially thought. I plan on using these as display pieces in my office to hide some things in my cabinet (maybe I will update once I build it) so I think the larger size will work in my favor in terms of stability. Each cube is a little less than an inch, when stacked 3×3 the tower can fit comfortably in a corner and not take up much space at all. If you are giving this to an actual Minecraft kid I highly suggest purchasing at least 3 or 4 and mix in different sets, these kids are so creative now that there’s really nothing they would be interested in building if you just got them 1 but if the kid is young and this is just a stimulation toy and they aren’t at the point of building more than simple structures you could get away with 1 or 2. I got 2 of this set and 1 of the pumpkin set and 1 of the winter set so I can build different biomes and I plan on purchasing the wood only set to use as non visible base. Idk how to explain this but it can only support 2 rows with no supports ( like the top of a 7) you can get away with 3 if the 3rd row only consists of 1 piece but it’s very unstable. I tried my hardest to photograph everything i mentioned, this was not a paid review and this item was purchased with my own money; I think these would make pretty nice Christmas/birthday presents so long as you get enough. Great blocks
I got these for my 7 year old son. The 11 year old likes playing with them too! The first day they played for an hour solid building all sorts of structures. They were so creative with them. The magnet is strong, the colors are bright and they loved the Minecraft theme. We’ve already purchased another set since they are so much fun.

My 3 nephews (all under 6yrs) absolutely love these. They would fight over who could play with them so I have now bought multiple sets. They are costly but it’s been months and they hold up to wear and tear and provide endless entertainment so far so worth the price. I won’t lie…I even enjoy sitting with them and building different things! Haha

Wr ordered two boxes on sale for a total of $75.00 and the items themselves are okay. They work well and are a great idea but are wildly expensive. There are not enough pieces even with two packs to build anything interesting. I’ve included pics of the box and the suggestions for builds. Not worth the money but really cool.

Bought for my son for Christmas. They are easy for him to stack and take apart. He’s so creative and loves to build towers with them. The only down side is I wish it came with more for the price. But I will most likely buy more in the future when they go on sale again.
