    I’m loving it so far
Just got it, it’s easy to use and helps you complete a better tracking of your overall health. It’s small and easy to store away or take with you on trips.I’ll try and update in a couple of months if anything changes.Disclaimer- I don’t know if it’s the best product on the market in terms of overall accuracy and connectivity but the fact that it syncs with my Garmin and the rest of my activities is the reason I bought it.

Quality product, sleek and comfortable, and readable
I chose this Garmin product after having various drug-store generic BP testers, which gave inconsistent results. I figured that Garmin would make this one in the same high-quality manner as everything else they make. I’m glad I did. Starting with the setup, connecting it to my “Connect” app, it just worked, with no fiddling with bluetooth settings, or passwords, or anything. It was up and working in seconds. And the readings are consistent and agree with the doctor’s office.

    Really Disappointed. Inaccurate and inconsistent
I’ve used several different home BP monitors over the past decade. When my most recent one fell victim to a high impact incident with the floor, I jumped at the chance to replace it with the Garmin Index BPM. The chance to add my BP metrics to the collection of vitals in the Garmin ecosystem along with the expectation of quality and reliability convinced me to overlook the premium price point and a few negative reviews about accuracy..Oh how I was disappointed! The clever design of the angled face is annoying in practice. Rather than allowing the cuff to be wrapped around the body for a compact travel package, the angled face means that the cuff is bunchy and loose. The design of other cuffs I’ve used have a serious advantage for portability. But most troubling by far was the accuracy of the BP readings themselves. Multiple back to back readings with no other changes produced wildly different results. The readings would consistently vary by 25-30 points! Inconsistency was the only thing consistent about this cuff. Yes, I have also used the feature for 3 readings to average and yes, I’m very familiar with the importance of placement position. Comparing side by side readings at the same time with a different BP cuff, the Garmin BPM was all over the place and even the averages of readings were not in line with the other cuff or manual readings (the old school way). My experience unfortunately echoes that of others reviews that have found the BPM to be consistently inaccurate. After a month of trying to make it work, I have returned the unit. I will not buy another, and I would not recommend to others. I would go even further to recommend several alternatives (all of them cheaper) instead.

    This on is accurate
I have tried many devices over the years, ranging from wrist monitors to upper arm monitors. Some over inflated and cause you to think your eyeballs are going to pop out. This one is very well behaved and closely agrees with the doctor’s office. It is also repeatable.. The software is easy to use – some are hard to get to sync.I now have two of the units for convenience. As a low. Vision person a brighter display and spoken blood pressures would be a nice touch.

Having used it consistently for a year, I’m excited to share my experience with this impressive device. From the moment I started using the Garmin Index Blood Pressure Monitor, I was struck by its user-friendly design. The large, easy-to-read display and intuitive controls make taking blood pressure readings a breeze, even for those less familiar with medical devices. This thoughtful design ensures that monitoring my blood pressure remains a simple and stress-free process.Accuracy is paramount when it comes to health monitoring, and the Garmin Index Blood Pressure Monitor has consistently delivered on this front. Its advanced sensing technology provides accurate readings that I can trust. Whether I’m tracking my blood pressure in the morning, during stressful moments, or after a workout, I’m confident in the reliability of the measurements it provides. One of the standout features of this monitor is its seamless integration with the Garmin Connect app. The ability to sync my readings with the app has been a game-changer. It allows me to effortlessly track my blood pressure trends over time, helping me gain valuable insights into my cardiovascular health. The visual representation of my data has made it easier for me to make informed decisions about my lifestyle and habits, I have had to replace the batteries a few times now, they last a while but I can say after a year of traveling with the unit, get amazon to delivery battery for it. It will warn you so you have some time to order the battery before it dies.Over the past year, the durability of the Garmin Index Blood Pressure Monitor has also impressed me. Small portable and works well
I really like how portable this is. I can take it with me where ever I go on vacation or business trips. I find it fairly accurate. It supports multiple users, you can connect to wifi to auto upload to Garmin account, it has the option to do 3 readings in a row then average for a more accurate reading, the batteries are replaceable.Cons:It’s a bit pricey, but if you’re buying you probably already love the Garmin ecosystem and willing to pay more. For the price I wish it had a rechargeable battery, but not a deal breaker.

Very pleased with this. Links with Garmin connect on my phone and I have the watch and scales. I use myfitnesspal and it links up too. Very pleased with it as it does 3 readings one minute apart and uses that

Doesn’t check for AFIB.Doesn’t sync to Garmin Connect as easily as watches do.Limited functionality compared to brands dedicated to manufacturing BP machines.
