Works well for what I need!
I have a 2016 Audi Q5. I love my car, but no apple car play. So, since I don’t like the voice on Waze, I have a holder in my a/c vent. But, I can’t text without holding down a button on my phone, etc. You all know how apple car play works! So, I’ve had none of those features in my car. I decided to try this and was surprised by how inexpensive it was! I’m sure if I integrated it into where my screen is now, it would’ve been a few hundred dollars, but this just sits on my dash. The pros – easy easy set up! Bluetooth connected, paired and I was able to keep audio running through my car (so music and phone calls) and not use the speaker on the little unit. Touchscreen has been perfect! Siri makes texting easy and safe. Cons – CORDS!! I thought this was wireless, and I don’t feel like figuring out if another unit would be better. But, because I need to always have my phone plugged in (not for the unit, Waze, etc., just drains the battery fast), I have two cords going now. My phone charger didn’t work in my 12V spot, so I plugged this unit into that and kept my phone charger in the cigarette lighter. No, this old car doesn’t even have USB! I also had to figure out, like others, where to put it. Yes, it does slide-ish in to the CD compartment, but that’s too low. Too much looking down. So, I did adhere it to my dash and it doesn’t interfere with my sight lines at all. Honestly, I’m amazed this thing works and I do love it. I have no idea if it can ever be wireless, or not. I’m also not using the back-up camera because I have one. So, there could be convenient features that I haven’t bothered to try. But, it does seem pretty basic and I’m grateful for Waze at my eyeline and for responsive Siri texting while not touching my phone! See pics – you’ll see the cords (white is my phone charger, black goes into my console), the difference of it in the CD holder (too low) and how it looks on my dash. All in all, a good purchase!

I love using CarPlay for navigation and podcasts, but my car doesn’t come with CarPlay. I have a Tesla Model 3, which has a great screen but no CarPlay support. It connects automatically and quickly every time I get in the car. I can use Siri to control everything with voice commands, or use the screen as if it was a dedicated CarPlay device. For the money, you can’t go wrong
This is a fantastic product and saved me so much money (I was considering having a manufacturer install an OEM system before and it was going to be pricey). The only complaint I have is that it resets every time I turn off the car so I always have to reconnect the audio to my car’s speakers rather than the speakers in the screen.

Easy installation, fast and seamless connection
Installing the screen was very easy as the tape provided was very strong and stuck to the car surface very easily. What I love about this product is that it connects with my phone very quickly which was important to me since I wanted something that was seamless. I have a toyota tacoma and parking it in forward is very hard as my truck is lifted. I was able to install the camera provided to the front of my vehicle(see pic). This has been a game changer for me because now parking my truck is very easy. The screen is very responsive to touch and it’s very easy to use when you are driving. The brightness is also very high which makes it easy to see during a sunny day. The screen display is also very clear. It’s size is also perfect, not too big nor too small. Setting up the device was also very easy and all you need to do is enable Bluetooth and location on your phone before you get in your car and it automatically connects and starts playing music and loads up Google maps. If you’re looking to upgrade your cars entertainment system this is a great product.

This device irregularly connected to my vehicle with no special reason. I did everything correct according to the instructions and gave it the last 4 months of genuinely trying to use it and it just doesn’t work. The back up camera has never worked. It won’t connect to my vehicle at all. My husband is practically a mechanic and can’t get it connected.

The Best Bang For Your Buck
I have been wanting Apple CarPlay for my car for a while but couldn’t upgrade my car or want to install a whole system in it so I looked on Amazon and this was the first thing that popped up not only was it sold at a very cheap price but it also came with a lot rod good use. The setup was very easy just plug it into the cigarettef lighter port then connect all the cords and connect. The Sound Quality when connect was very good no static noise, The touch screen was very easy to manipulate, and the appearance of everything was great and easy to locate things, the performance of portable Apple CarPlay is amazing and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting CarPlay in their car for cheap.
